Hi Masters, I looked into improving my blog posts, and I found a useful resource on “Shaping Your Story.” In particular, they suggested that I rethink my intention. In other words, the assignment was to rewrite the story from a different perspective. For example, the story I choose is about a fire that destroyed my computer. Also, they recommended I tag my post with the #shapingyourstory so that it’s easier for other masters to locate my new blog post. Meanwhile, I was deciding between calling shaping fire or developing flame. Therefore, I decided to call it “shaping fire” because it’s more direct and it sounded way cooler. Before I leave you, I just want to say that it was exciting to write, and I do hope you read it.
Shaping Fire
I sat closer to Rom, a white rectangular box that shots out on press of a button. I am a small little semiconductor with three connections. A few circuits over, my favorite neighbor Izzy, the most expensive of the transistors soldered near Cepy. Therefore, I love to chat with Izzy. We speak for many hours about how well we amplify our terminals. Consequently, we boast about our pure silicon that improves flow through our semiconductors. I always thought of us a developing sparkle. Occasionally, Izzy would tell us that her pins got so juiced when Cepy was overworked. We used to sit in front of Cepy and joke around about the developing flame around his exhaust.

Developing flame motherboard
Later that day, Izzy and I got a surge of electricity through our pins. It was coming from Rom! Lots of data were being pushed to Cepy. Wisky, the wire, told us that data was coming through the pipe. Then, Cepy began to compute extensive data, and Izzy got really hot. A small sparkle ignited on the surrounding jungle of 15 pin power cables. Cepy reported that the core temperature is going up! Suddenly, I started seeing dark spots behind Rom. Then, out of nowhere, Rom’s lasers and gears stopped moving. Then, a blanket of silence filled our circuits. It’s as if somebody started casting a fire. Suddenly, a big black smoke has begun oozing out of the side of Rom. We never have seen anything like it, a developing flame quickly destroying all of our components.

Not every day is about drawing, but being a stubborn artist. Moreover, you can say that painting is more natural than thinking about why you draw in the first place. I know your probably thinking, another rant! Hold on, its an exciting rant with a solution! If you stick around, I will show you how to make progress through the challenges. Plus, the emotions that go with sketching and my feelings.
In Perspective
"It's just a hobby."
"Nothing serious!"
Let’s dive in! To me, its always been an investment and being a stubborn artist. Furthermore, I do my best to improve my foundation. However, I genuinely don’t feel that way in all my pursuits. Besides, why is my mind always pointing me toward money? For example, I can think of one or more things. For instance, stress at work to drive me towards something that I have a greater passion — merely drawing and improving for what end? Then, I have thoughts like I can’t quit my job for art or I don’t care to appreciate other peoples art. There, I said it! Don’t hate. For example, I know it takes many human hours to create a piece of art, but it takes seconds to fall in love with it!
Big Ideas & Questions
But if it means nothing to a large number of people, then it is just a hobby. Time spent learning; self-taught in practice.
So what now? Why is Vye practicing? Are you trying to build a studio? 3D Artist in the making. Ha ha ha.

Seeking Adventure
Perspective Stubborn Artist
Then I think I can be the next comic book page turner? What is pulling the Vye node? Every day I draw, its about discovery of what I can improve. I know brains are not born with artistic ability; Why then am I trying to shove into my mind? To what end? Therefore, the plausible solution is that the challenge of it keeps me employed. Likewise, I feel the same about my job. Thus, I want to fall in love with art and not feel like a stubborn artist. I am curious about why people draw and how they discovered a passion for art. I will not settle for “I am good at it.” I learned fast; Therefore I continue? Seeking adventure and I challenge you to keep the conversation the in comments below and share your views on the subject.
Masters, during the commute, I turn into the best artist mode for the life at the North Pole. Lots of people on the train. The goal is to impress. Today it was slightly different. The plan is to prepare for the art meetup. How you ask? It all begins with starting up my Pinterest app. Why that app? Because it works great!
Mixed Media Digital Drawing
Tools for the North
Not enough? Okay. I use it because of the tools. What tools? For seconds, it has a search bar! For example, if I search for the north pole, I will get a bunch of images. I know a few sites that make it impossible to find pictures! Three, I love organization tools. I can create sections at will and automatically be brought suggestions for more idea’s.
What traits did I use?
Let’s go back, I wanted to draw for my art meetup. Therefore, I created a few sections. I will list them in a few minutes. Why!? Because I love to make, you wait! No, I want to tell you how I come up with the ideas north pole. What is a name without a process? Secondly, the name of the section came from a few simple ideas; A trait, prop, villain and heroic quality.
Russian Nuclear Icebreaker!
Let us not drink the forgetting potion just yet! Hence, I created a new google keep post, to jot down my ideas. For the prop, I choose tough. Naturally, the villain got the evil quality. Then, I needed inspiration for the art. Omg, I haven’t even told you the name of today’s meetup! “Let’s Draw: Life at the North Pole.” Okay, don’t hit the panic button folks! Consequently, I went over to YouTube and searched around the pole. Hehe! Long and behold, I found an interesting video about a Russian nuclear icebreaker! You can see the video here.
NYC MTA Turnstile?
Wait don’t leave yet, I’m almost done! The Russian nuclear icebreaker sailed for 40 years to the north! Thus, that will be my heroic subject. In the video, I noticed that people were gathering outside for a BBQ. Therefore, I created a villain, the NYC MTA turnstile. Wait, don’t laugh, bah go ahead! Simply put, people go on the icebreaker for a simple exchange. Accordingly, see images below.

Also, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate and ask and I will answer them.
Trapped Behind Wall, that is my mind for the last few weeks. In other words, I had cooked up an image inside my mind, and I wanted to share my thoughts in writing and drawing form. Besides, I have not told you yet, but I’m into astrology, and it has gotten me thinking about how my mind works. Plus, I want to give you a better explanation of why I feel the way I do, but I figured it would be an exciting journey to experience. If you’re stumped by my thinking, let me know, and I’ll try to explain in the comments.

Trapped Behind Wall
Do people feel anything these days? You don’t have to answer. They never do! Go ahead though, tell me all your fears and convictions.
Listen; In my mind, trapped behind the wall, pressed like a car being squeezed into a square and moving forward is not an option. Resisting death of all I know, I used all my remaining strength to push through the gravity of the situation. Hand gripped, banging against the blue sky and nobody to hear or see.
That evening, I am walking on the cold sand towards the rails of the dark lit boardwalk city. My hands press against the hard stiff sheet. Pushing harder like a mime acting out a story through body motions, without the use of speech. Motionless lit city, trapped behind the wall.
In frustration, the thin sheet doesn’t budge, but so doesn’t my persistence! I promise you, a breakthrough will follow!

Hello Masters, today I want to share an original, thoughtful way you can improve your blog writing with an interview with Shawn aka Dronstad. I’ve struggled with writing every post. Also, I looked online for guidance, but haven’t found a clear way to help me write better. To make it exciting and fun, I asked a fellow community man whom some of you know and love, who possess vast experience and published many posts and stories. The crucial questions will guide us on a journey to learn how to write a novel, unlock an angle of approach to the subject, give your article purpose and build original detail. Please join me for an interview in Q and A form with Shawn from Dronstadblog. In the end, I will include how you can support or follow him.
Dronstad
Q&A Interview with Shawn Dronstad Blog
What do you want to tell your readers or which central question do you want to answer?
The moral of the story varies from text to text. Mostly I try to show the bad, to highlight the good in the next scene. Sometimes I leave the bad, so people can see how bad things can be.
I do this thing covertly, not presented at first glance. You don’t tell a reader “Murder is bad,” you tell him the story and show him why murder is bad. And why am I telling that?
If you show it in a way a reader can relate to, the reader will revisit his morals, think about it, try to defend the other side even he doesn’t support it and after that, he will make a conclusion that ‘murder’ is atrocious.
I want my reader to think, to participate in the story and possibly find an answer to his problem, grow with his moral standing and eventually become a better person after reading my story. In the end, that is the ultimate purpose of a writer.
Shawn is making his own illustrations for the stories posted on his Patreon. He does the custom stories and illustrations for his Patrons. My personal favorite story is Dad’s Old Blaster.
What’s the purpose of your article?
Tell a story, say something deep, thoughtful, powerful, encouraging. Make a reader search for the truth in the text, make him chase the fragments and complete the puzzle.
Train someone’s mind, challenge his convictions, insult them on the intellectual level and leave him struggling. When they overcome the problem I gave them, they can feel like a hero who has killed a giant.
What do you want your readers to do at the end of the page?
I think I answered this already. I’ll simplify it. I want my readers to think while I entertain them. It is a fun brain exercise, but with a deeper meaning when sub-conscience kicks in.
Reevaluate your standing point, challenge yourself with a different perspective, develop empathy, evoke sympathy for the enemy, understand the different point of view, grow as a person and become a better man tomorrow.
What unique perspective do you bring?
I try to implement something from my life and the situations I’ve been through or my imagination on how things should have happened. I try to show the unpopular opinion in a relatable way.
My prime goal is firstly to shock my reader by giving him an extraordinary situation and slowly point the way out of that situation, so every story is a journey on itself.
He began posting audio versions of his stories on his YouTube channel. He is doing everything by himself.
Where are the genuinely original details in your story?
It comes in the form of scenery, world-building, the surroundings and the lore I am building within the story. After that, I introduce a character, a person to the story, a piece of reality, someone who will be a guide for the reader through the story.
Also, the motive to the story is something that is purely fictional, therefore original and new. Every story I make is supposed to rely on a rarely explored topic, taboo topics, exotic suggestion and scary thought of something potentially dangerous like war, terrorism, violence, sex, mental issues, confrontation with the law, government, society, etc.
Which elements of your experience couldn’t be in anyone else’s story?
Hmm, that is hard to describe, because I am not able to say what other people have experienced. Many people went through a situation I haven’t, and there are situations that I went through that many can’t imagine happening to them.
I speak about war, conflict, violence and strange places where you can find humanity. To my analysis, the world is yin and yang (light in the dark, dark in light, good in bad, and bad is good).
I’ve been through 5 wars, civil wars and a tough period of transition from Communism to Socialism, to Democracy and the process of Balkanization (look up the term). I was a child when chaos consumed my country, and I grew up through ruble.
In no way do I claim I am an expert on these topics. However, I think I have a somewhat better understanding of what has happened to this part of the world. I do restrain myself to my personal opinion and point of view, and so I critique the society and politics with my own developed comprehension on these topics.
Now, to all of this, what I can say is that you should try answering these questions yourself and see where do you stand. Define your goals and then make the route you want to take.
Set up the checkpoints, but make them close to where are you now in life so that you can reach them. That way you’ll get moving, slowly in the beginning, but you’ll be a step away from where you were yesterday. And then, all you need to do is to work on your way up in the world. It is that simple.
Thank you for joining the interview with Shawn Dronstad!

Hello Masters, I want to tell you about my nightly art recording. For example, it will include a Yeti microphone, boom arm, stool and desk pencil sketch I had drawn in the late hours of my day. Also, I’m experimenting with the idea of making nightly art to share with you. At the end of the post, if you can please let me know your thoughts.
Graphite Pencils
Nightly Art
Right before bed, I was browsing around the WordPress reader community looking at the art tagged areas for inspiration. Then, I started drawing with my graphite pencils, but immediately got distracted by Amazon shopping app on my cell phone. Why? Do you ever get bored from a routine you do? My nightly art plan was to make a box and bring cross-hatching to my paper. My brain liberated me and told me to illustrate what I see on my wishlist!
What is on my Nightly Art Recording wishlist?
I have a wishlist for recording system equipment. In particular, I want to set up a small desk to record art and share it with you. The list contains a Yeti microphone, boom arm, a box with switches and a tower that will house my cell phone to record the video/podcast. I know it’s a mouthful! I don’t have all the parts figured out. Especially the box with switches, hehe! I don’t plan on getting it all tonight.

Recording System
The drawing below is created using graphite general pencils 2H, HB, and 2B. I used regular loose leaf paper. Without giving away too much detail, I wanted to plan out my recording system, so I decided to draw it. Considering you made it to the end of the blog post, I guess you enjoyed reading it right? If you did or didn’t, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I appreciate any feedback you provide. Also, some links may contain affiliate links to Amazon. If you do purchase anything, thank you because while at no extra cost to you, I will make a small commission. By using my links you support my art, so thank you if you decide to buy.

Today I want to tell you about my Rothko abstract painting contest experience. AIso, I want to share what I felt during the contest. More importantly, I want to bestow the technique on to you. Finally, in the end, I will share the location of the submissions.
Experience The Rothko Abstract Painting
I’ll start by saying I know little about the artist Mark Rothko. It wasn’t until the contest that I learned to see with new eyes. What the heck does that mean? During my college years, I took a few art classes, but I cared little about history. So what? Well, Rothko was different, and it’s worth checking his works. Why? Yo bloggers, I’m pretty sure you love it when people comment on your blogs right? Rothko paintings made people cry! Okay, so the point is I wanted to figure out how to do that with my art.
Did I cry?
During my commute from and to work, Rothko abstract painting made it to my sketchbook. For two fantastic weeks, it was spent on drawing eleven works of art. At first, I felt calm and collected. Boring! From an artist point of view, I pulled in the golden ratio and rule of thirds (you will see in the first few images). Yes, I know mechanical. No crying yet! What changed? Nothing until I dragged myself on YouTube to learn why people love this guy? To be honest, the crying started in the third image.

“The Rothko theory, in short, is that even the most simple abstract art can sell for millions because the artists emotions are captures in every brush stroke.”
Neil Fontaine
Interestingly, I learned that Rothko’s installations had a significant impact on pulling people and caging their minds. Also, I learned that he piles on colors with loads of paint thinner. As a result, the colors bleed into each other, making the painting move.
Final Thoughts
Well, you made it this far! As a reward, here is the page for the submitted art pieces for the abstract painting contest. Also, what I chose for the submission and runner-up! Feel free to comment or critique in any way.

In preparation of the fall harvest, we the Imaginative Illustrators of NYC decided to draw in theme. Join me on my journey on how the images below came into existence. We had many ideas. For example, blood harvest, slasher idols, and historical persons. The particular image you see above is a small scene from a larger comic.
Fall Harvest Comic
Tractor picking pumpkins
How I got my inspiration for the Fall Harvest?
Starting with a quick lunch and dress for travel to Manhattan. During my commute, I open up Google image search and start a fall harvest collection. Did you know that Google has a collection feature!? It’s similar to Pinterest, but it includes the world!
Start your Fall Harvest collection!
While I create my mood board, Google places tags below the search bar that helps me filter and generate ideas for my drawings. For example, fall harvest will give you cards like apple, pumpkins, harvest sangria, snack mix, harvest salad, apple pie, apple cider and much more! Then, when you find something you like, you can start collecting items in your basket and revisit them anytime. Again, the goal is to give you a tool to brainstorm for your prompt, contest or event.
What happened – Imaginative Illustrative of NYC
Before arriving, I’m always feeling a bit nervous because of the new faces to greet and thrilled with the challenge of it all. Likewise, the place is on the second floor of a cafe. Almost always, I take a leak, splash my face with cold water in the conveniently located bathroom in the back. Feeling refreshed, I greet everybody and notice that my co-event organizer already started the meetup. I open up my google collection and quickly start drawing a few rectangles and portrait-like spaces to fit my comic. While scrapping through the group of reference, having an hour, I immediately try to come up with an exciting story to for the fall harvest.
How do you find your inspiration?
Thank you for reading my article on Fall Harvest, and I would appreciate if you can take a moment and write about your experience. In doing so, it will help others who might have a similar question. Thank you again for taking your time out of your day to visit my art blog!
More about the Meetup?
If you’re curious about the meetup, Imaginative Illustrators of NYC? I’ve left a few links below for you to find out more.
Yesterday, I was hosting the Imaginative Illustrators of NYC, and our drawing prompt was dancing dancers. Not really knowing what to draw, I went on autopilot and started to sketch clouds. Arrg, 20 mins later I saw lovers dancing in the vapors under the 🌒⚡!
Life is like dancing. If we have a big floor, many people will dance. Some will get angry when the rhythm changes. But life is changing all the time.

What do you about my drawing?
Dancing Lovers in the Clouds
Experience with Imaginative Illustrators of NYC
During my commute to the meetup, I was thinking about the topic. What should I draw? If you already guessed, you get a gold star! Badum Tish! While I googled dancing poses and silhouettes, we had various characters pop in the subway car.
What happened at the meetup?
As you know, New York City is a busy wild place! Especially on a Saturday! For now, I’ll leave you with that got a little inspiration from the commute to the meetup. Upon arrival, I was eager to meet people and hopefully see a few familiar faces. lub-dub-lub-dub-lub-dub … I was the host today! Being nervous, I greeted the ladies and gents and quickly spewed out my art supplies on the table. Almost mechanically, I explained what the topic was about and did my best to answer questions. So we started drawing images of “Dancing Dancers.”
Dancing and Dancers Comic
Why you should be inspired by dancing as a form of art?
During the meetup, a question poped up. Why do I choose dancing as the topic? BWEEP bip bip BWEEP! While alarms were going off in my mind trying to come up with a reasonable explanation, I managed to stitch together the following concoction. Dancing is an art form; it will show emotion and how the body stretches.
Hey Readers!
Thank you for reading my story about Dancing Dancers meetup. I posted everybody else art pieces. If you like to see them, please visit our page at meetup.com
Now and then, I have thoughts about drawing prompts or writing. If I had to choose between the two, you know what which I would pick? Nothing against being a writer, but I feel that I’m struggling and I don’t even know if it’s having a negative or positive impact. In essence, I wrote that because it’s my solution. At the end of the post, I’ll include the weekly art prompt. If you feel so inclined, go ahead and write or draw about it.
Drawing Prompts or Writing?
Like any week, I haven’t been writing, but drawing every day, I could find the time. Write or draw? The answer could include keeping a diary or a notebook handy to jot down my thoughts. What kind of ideas should an artist record? Two solutions can consist of, the problem and process. I can decorate the artwork with instructions. It will look messy, but I can say it’s part of the art.
Try to answer the above question
To answer the question above, replace the second word with your passion. For example, write or sports, write or music, write or eating, write or draw? If you have time, try to think about your enthusiasm and how you can combine the two in interesting ways. In my case, maybe the problem is the solution. If you do comment, thank your time!
Weekly Drawing Prompt: Back to School
If you answered the write or draw question above, you are well on your way in becoming great. However, if you truly want a challenge, see if you can come up with a response for Back to Schooldrawing prompt? In other words, write or draw anything related to that cue and include a link back to this original post. The previous prompt was Internet dating, while not a prompt for WordPress. It is in the meetup, Imaginative Illustrators Of NYC.

Transcribe it! Is it possible to write freely, draw freely without worry of search engine optimization? I long for having the ability to post images of my drawings. I’m striving to become an artist, and the steps I’m about to take will get me closer. Let me know what you think of the new format? A few weeks ago, I did another podcast on Quick Poses. It used a different way to describe the podcast.

Hello everybody today I am doing something interesting with a podcast while trying to transcribe it at the same time. Always thinking like I’ve been writing these blog post stain some days Some Nights now I’ve been writing them down the weekend, but I always wanted to just draw and have my pictures sort of tell the story. But lately, I’ve been more worried about the SEO and making sure I have a story to tell before I share my artwork and it has really slowed me down. Probably wondering why I’m saying. At the end of my sentence so like I said before I am using an interesting method to transcribe my podcast/blog post I found something online about a Corky way to transcribe. So what you do is you open up a Google Docs or Word Microsoft Word is kind of similar to it. And you go to tools and enable voice recording. It’s a little tricky because you need to first start recording on your recording software. Okay, what kind of recording software am I using I’m using? The cool thing about that is it does two types of recording what is the text which is going to be written as I am talking and the other is recording my voice in the actual podcast as I’m talking. While I’m talking I’m looking at the Google Docs, and it’s typing exactly what I’m saying, but sometimes I got to go in there and correct it this is great. Okay, let me say that again this is great because I don’t need to pay somebody to transcribe my podcast, in fact, this is so easy I might just continue using this. Normally I shoot for 300 words or more when writing my blog post so I think this will really speed things up for me because now I can just focus on what do you call a drawing and not actually writing the damn thing. I can also have this podcast ready for you to listen to instead of reading my texts but if you’re up for reading, you can go ahead and read the text as well. Starting to get used to saying. All the time haha. So I think I’m about I’m about 40 minutes into the podcast.. 40 minutes 4 minutes yeah there you go don’t be an addition as a complete mystery to me we’ll need to figure out how to use it in the future. I did look into a subscription sorry at transcription service, and I’m going to give it a test to see if they do a good job and if they do I might give it a good review. I wanted to talk about what I did after I got home after work but I have to try to remember what that was. What did I do I worked on eating first and those watching an Andromeda to sci-fi Space movie with Captain Dylan Hunt. After that, I went over to my computer machine and I started working on would I start working out I went on you. My and I started looking at my environment course that I signed up for. What is this environment course it’s I want to learn how to draw environments for another project I’m working on so hopefully I can share some of those images with you in this blog post. After that I submitted the environmental work that I did for you tomorrow and I put it up my deviantART page for other people to look at I’m pretty proud of myself because I worked on this thing during my commute the second time around like came out really nice some cool looking trees and some backgrounds fading out at the distance creating atmospheric environmental thingamabob. Okay after that I went ahead and signed into my gum road to look into my favorite artist rent friend is doing a tutorial in the basic fundamentals of drawing and I was watching his third video on creating treasure chests. While practicing, I started working in Photoshop, and I was just freehanding and eyeballing the perspective lines its kind of hard to explain Over podcast it’s kind of easier if I just throw it out and show it to you may be in a time-lapse one day. As I’m recording this thing over this podcast, I’m starting to notice a few things while the Google Doc is recording my text. Sometimes it just stops recording, and I have to go and press it so if you hear a weird pause in the podcast that’s why. Some ready 10 minutes into the podcast and I’m pretty happy with the result. I think that I will have to edit some of the text in this Google Docs, so it looks readable cuz some of the things that it wrote here are not spelled correctly but for the most part it’s great can’t wait to share this with you definitely will leave the pictures in the blog post somewhere in between some of this text as I’m writing it or them talking in the software is writing it If you like this new format just let me know in the comments below trying to be as open as-as positive about it as possible I think this would be great way for me to connect with my audience and answer any of your questions anyway thanks for joining in or if you do listen to the podcast thanks for listening to that as well I have it set up with Google so if you do want to subscribe there should be a way to do it I’m just not sure how once I find out I’ll share that way with you. Take care

Hi, today I will try to open my community art store. Hold it, How is your week/weekend? As I’m writing, trying to maintain focus on this while talking to my mom. I’m working on opening up a community art store on my blog. Also, the other day, I was running in the morning and managed to get a few beauty shots on the boardwalk. Thursday, I found myself playing cricket with co-workers and day’s before, I’m squeezing in any chance I can get to draw. Okay getting off topic, I did mention community art store, it’s been on my mind for a few weeks now because it gives me the opportunity to be supported and continue to give back to the community.

Community Art Store
I won’t reveal all my secrets, but stay tuned. Heh. Wait! Okay, I’m thinking of a way to connect with the community. I was thinking of posting the art I create from your ideas in the store. I have a few already, but they haven’t been designed and published. However, on Friday I worked on an abstract piece that will be part of the store. The art piece is a test run to see what is possible. I created a red rectangular pillow with cover. If you do decide to buy it, let me know your experience and what I can improve with my community art store. A small portion of the income will go as a donation back to the WordPress community.

Who is included in Community?
While I’m doing all these things I mentioned earlier, I’m always thinking about how to help the community grow. More importantly, I want to answer the who questions in the fantastic bold header above. To be part of the art store community, just reach out, and we can see if it will work out. In the past, I worked with Dronstadblog. His work reaches many eyes and influences even me to draw. If he is okay with it, I would like to put his idea’s to life in the community art store.
