Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 62, while I wrote out my morning pages, I thought about my inability to write my blog. Then, this weekend, I’m going upstate to Lake Placid. Hopefully, that doesn’t give you the image like the movie. However, I’m worried about my regular routines. At one point, I spoke to Nenad from Dronstad blog about when he does his writings. He suggested that I write through the day and get bits of it done if time is an issue. Therefore, morning pages are no joke useful, so let’s boom, boo-boo over to the next set of the drawing plan 62.

For the drawing plan 62, do you ever get one of those days where you don’t have anything to write? Then, you start going to other paragraphs and writing what you know because it’s routine. Then, still, you need to come back and write out something. At least people will know you exist. Also, I was hoping that something substantial would hit me during my morning pages. I write to them in the morning to think about my concerns. I seem to be in a fog today. Therefore, let’s find a way to give each other good vibes and push through and crackle over to the drawing plan 62.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 61, I went outside for half my lunch to get some vitamin D. During the pandemic of COV-19, we stay inside and don’t get much sun, and end taking supplements. I wanted to start a new trend for myself and go outside in the back yard, and give myself 30 minutes. After I got back from my excursion, I felt so much better and refreshed. Also, as a bonus, I got to draw boxes in perspective. Anyhow, let’s hack over to the next set of drawing plan 61.

During my time outside, I thought about drawing plan 61 and applying it to rock studies. I started doing them so I can recall images and bring them into my drawings. As I wrote out my morning pages, I thought about trying to remember the shapes while I sit outside. Then, think about how to build them inside my head. After that, try to illustrate them on paper. Of course, I want to try to have fun, haha, and move to the next set of the drawing plan 61.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 60, I thought about giving up Tuesday and Friday daily blogging. Once before, I brought it, but I didn’t which days. Also, I choose those days because each previous day is the start of many tasks. Then, if I give myself a break the next day, I will have an easier time. Therefore, let’s give Vye a break and waffle over to the next drawing plan 60.

During the drawing plan 60, I think about how I can squeeze more juice for my rock studies. I want to ramp up to ten a day, so having more time will allow me to do a few more. Doing rock studies is vital to my growth because it will teach me how to break down shapes. In other words, I can identify what looks like a square or a triangle or even a circle. Then I can on top of that, and I can illustrate and work on the details later. Thus, let’s get more time to rock studies, and let’s wack over to the drawing plan 60.

Hi, yesterday, drawing plan 59; I worked on the usual items, but then I had to host Imaginative Illustrators, and that’s when I got hurt. My buddy’s car broke down, so I stepped up and took over the meetup. Everything went fine, but as I was drawing, I noticed that I was running low on inspiration. I ignored the feeling and tried to push through. Then, towards the second half, I felt empty inside and hoped that people in my group would give me a bit more love. However, it was mostly silent, so I quickly passed my turn to the next artist. Therefore, for the drawing plan 59, I was hurt, so let’s fizz along to the next step.

While I wrote my morning pages, I thought about reducing the amount of drawing plan 59. In other words, I want to take two days off from writing these blog posts. Also, it will give me a chance to use the hour for illustrating. Additionally, I can use the other day to connect with my audience. For example, I can go on the WordPress reader, and see what you all are up too and try to connect. Thus, for the drawing plan 59, two days will allow me to reach you and improve my art, so let’s flick over to the next set.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 58 yesterday, to my surprise, I had multiple creative individuals enter the Meetup. I run Aspiring Artists of NYC at 8:30 am. During the Meetup, we use the idea of spaced learning to speed up our process. Also, it’s formally known as Art DIET, designed by Reuben Lara. Then, on Friday, we cover Art Invention. In the end, multiple creative individuals pushed my passionate self into an overdrive guide mode, so let’s cackle over to the drawing plan 58.

One of the creative individuals told me about Phil’s Design Corner. I was also excited to find out that the man runs a Blogger site and posts his course work. Meanwhile, I’m thinking to myself how the heck I’m going to fit everything into my schedule. Regardless, Phil explains things in such a way where you can easily understand the material. Then, I watched his perspective and basic shapes video. Also, it’s an hour-long, but you won’t get bored. Therefore, listen to your peers, lets chatter over to the drawing plan 58.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 57 yesterday, I spent my time trying to Win the Wacom One. ClipStudio Paint plans to give away a drawing tablet to lucky winners each day for six days straight. Then, the company wants us to name our favorite illustrator and follow all their social media accounts. Also, I know I’m promoting the company and all. More importantly, I wanted to give Trent Kaniuga a shoutout for doing good for the art community. Regardless if I don’t win the drawing device, I did my part, so let’s giggle on to the drawing plan 57.

Later that day, I found myself trying to get my cell phone to act as a secondary computer. Similarly, the Android community calls it DEX. However, I have no clue what it means. At any rate, the documentation told me to connect it to HDMI and USB-C. Then, install a few programs, Lawnchair and TaskBar. However, after discounting my PS4 to get the only HDMI wire to my monitor, nothing worked. Therefore, after a few hours of trying to connect it to a monitor, let’s try to growl over to the drawing plan 57.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 56 yesterday, I spent my morning studying Neal Adams. For example, my goal is to learn how to write and draw from the shoulder. Also, there are many advantages to doing it that way. For example, I will get less tired because I’m using less press on my wrist and fingers. Also, my drawing will be looser and expressive. Remember, the shoulder is a big muscle compared to your hand, wrist, or fingers. Therefore, for the drawing plan 56, I need to start drawing from the shoulder.

In the evening, I hosted Imaginative Illustrators. It’s a Meetup event that we host every Wed and Saturday between 6:30 or 4:00 pm. Also, the former host posted new prompts in the discussion—for example, hipster hippo, baby spoon, and bowling league day. However, nothing popped into my head until I started writing on the canvas. Then, I wrote about a baby spoon having a diaper changed. Thus, writing seems to trigger associations in my mind, so let’s belch over to the drawing plan 56.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 55, yesterday, my friend Nito sent me a YouTube link. In the video, Neal Adams shows the best way to hold a pen for inking comics. Then, and to my surprise, I learned that it’s better to draw using the soft parts of your fingers. In the morning, I wrote out my journal using the techniques, but I noticed that I need to unlearn my habits to overcome the pain. Also, why go through the trouble? Well, because it makes for looser illustrations, and being flexible improves line quality and confidence. Anyhow, let’s try to squirt over to the drawing plan 55.

I am sprinkling away from holding a pencil and moving towards writing. Some of my thinking was about writing and drawing. For example, how do I get more ideas instead of doodling and getting frustrated that I have nothing but boxes in perspective? Everybody learns differently, so maybe my way is to write a small blurb describing stuff until I want to illustrate it. Therefore, I spent some of my time looking into how to start a comic book.

I watched a video the other day, and I memorized steps on building up a story. Also, for the drawing plan 55, the task is to come up with a protagonist. Then, I was thinking of going online and finding comics to read—starting a collection and mix and match ideas into my comic. Also, Adam Duff, another YouTuber, had mentioned that it’s better to put inspiration on the table instead of temporary motivations. Therefore, I need to go out there and find what I like and try to make it mine. Anyhow, let’s spray over to the drawing plan 55.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 53, yesterday was mostly about chores in the morning, MoMa museum, and watching Alphonse book get plagiarised. The duties went okay. Also, I made a few mistakes cleaning the toilet and tub. Then, I need to scrub harder and clean the surfaces around the shampoo dispensers. I think we finished cleaning in two hours before we decided to take a cab to the Museum. Anyhow, let’s chatter along to the drawing plan 53.

MoMa is excellent, but we couldn’t find the tickets. We checked our email, but nothing showed up. Lucky for us, the admissions were able to find our tickets and showed us the way into the building. Upon entry, we gravitated towards the open areas with status. Then we made our way to the fourth floor. Also, that floor had paintings from Mark Rothko and Pollack. However, my favorite was Lee Krasner in combat with the canvas. Lastly, MoMa is excellent, so let’s try to clap along to the drawing plan 53.

Later, I made it home for lunch, and I found myself watching YouTube Jake Parker Plagiarized Alphonso Dunn’s book. It was interesting to me because I haven’t seen it in person. I mean, I haven’t seen a book plagiarized publicly. Especially in the artist community, I’m surprised to see such a wrong move. Then, I was immediately intrigued and curious about what the drama is all about. In short, Jake may be stealing content from Alphonso, such as concepts and layout, or flow in his new book InkTober.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 52, yesterday my parents came over for lunch. Also, right before, we went to Fairway to shop for the remaining ingredients at Fairway for Arugula fig salad and Heineken for my dad. He loves to drink all kinds of beer, but that’s the one we remember. We had plenty of time because my mom wanted to go for a short walk before coming inside. Based on my day, achoo, it pushed me along to drawing plan 52.

Afterword, we danced for a little bit while playing a game from Ubisoft. Just Dance 2020 edition using the song Tel Aviv. I can’t share the recording because I don’t think my parents would appreciate me doing that. Haha. However, the game is cool because it helps you improve your skills and lose some weight in the process. As a result, ahem, it got me closer to my meetup to start the drawing plan 52.

Around 4:30 or so, everybody left, and I was late to Imaginative Illustrators of NYC. The prompts were the same, chief squid, under the bed, and chicken boy. During the second half, my mind was blank until I started drawing. I focused mostly on line-art and didn’t have much of a plan. Other then what I saw on Pinterest. I need to figure out why I can get excited about drawing what is inside my head. As the event concluded and splat, it gave me energy and family love to support me through the drawing plan 52.

Hi, friends, for the drawing plan 51, yesterday, I was on Zoom call for our meetup Aspiring Artists. I say us because everybody is welcome to be part of it.

Before the meetup started, I was dead tired and wasn’t expecting anybody to join the room. Also, it was Art DIET Invention day, where we show our skills. In other words, its a collection of everything we learned thus far. Anyhow, let’s try to sprinkle along to the drawing plan 51.

From what I spot, four people RSVP, but only two showed up. Also, I think that’s a good turnout for a meetup with only 60 plus members and an 8:30 am start time.

I had a work Zoom event were we catch up with co-workers. Long story short, a co-worker calls me out, tells everybody in the room that his daughter draws better than me. I was butt hurt, as Trent would say. Man, you know what pissed me off the most? The man doesn’t go to any of my social media channels or reach out to me to see what trials I went to though to get to where I am today.

I didn’t get upset. Then, I played it off and made a witty joke. Also, I told my colleagues that I got like three seconds of fame, and his daughter stole the show. Lastly, let’s dribble, to the drawing plan 51.
