I went on a ski trip to Vermont, Stowe. It was great, despite icy conditions and some of my comrades getting injured. My goal now is learning how to better control myself during icy slopes. I can’t carve the ice and my feet start hurting when I try to slow down. Does anybody know how to do this? Getting home was hard on us because we left a bit later in the day. In other words, we stayed till the lifts closed. I arrived home at 2 am and went to bed at 3 am. Also, the crazy part is that I have to get up for work at 8 am.
A few days ago, I had looked at my WordPress follow button because I don’t like how it placed and it’s style. I needed a way to hide and show the follow my blog button. In fact, my inspiration came from the original style. So, I started googling for helpful WordPress Plugins. For example, I need a way to attach my follow button to the bottom right and fade it when the user scrolls the mouse wheel. Despite my journey with WordPress support, I managed to find a few plugins/CSS to help me with the result I needed. Here is a list of useful items that helped me:
Headroom.js is a lightweight, high-performance JS widget (with no dependencies!) that allows you to react to the user’s scroll. The header on this site is a living example, it slides out of view when scrolling down and slides back in when scrolling up.
Ad management plugin with many advanced advertising features. Supports all kinds of WordPress ads including Google AdSense, contextual Amazon Native Shopping Ads, Media.net and rotating banners.
The nice thing about this combination of plugins is that I can customize the look and feel. In other words, I popped in some JavaScript, CSS and got a few new features. For example, when the user scrolls down, the button hides or doesn’t bother you while you read my posts! Also, that alone was a trill because of how fluidly it disappears. Yet, Headroom works on your call to action and navigation headers. In other words, hide your header until you need it. Please let me know if you feel that I should add more to this list?

The other day I was troubleshooting WordPress comments. Stoner and I were discussing artwork, but she pointed out that if somebody clicks my name they go to the wrong place. Also, I was under the impression that we were both viewing the comments from the desktop. Yet, Stoner was viewing the comments from the reader. For example, after a fury of images being sent back and forth, I learned that she was correct in saying that site was not right. In fact, she was navigating to a site called grimreaper01.wordpress.com. As a result, I spoke to WordPress support and they pointed out that I needed to go to my account setting and just update a few fields. Thus, the moral of the story is use screenshots! I think we spent a few hours in plain confusion (see Worker Bee Story below).

That morning was interesting. I got up after being extremely tired. In other words, I was up late coming up with a featured picture for my blog post. Website Mission – 6 Strategies for beginners…Sunlight is in my eyes, while I got some of my clothes ready. Saw my mom. She was already up making breakfast. My plan was to quickly get some clothes ready so I can spend more time on publishing my blog post. Then I remembered that I had to connect my blog post with the prompt today. With the frustrations building, I didn’t know how to use blink in a sentence. I went online and searched how to use it a sentence. Remember, I’m half awake, so yes this is how I think when I’m sleep deprived. Then I selected something that made sense.
The Night Before 🌃
The night before I worked tirelessly on making my featured image. For example, I used a software called Spark. It’s useful because it lets you quickly create designs without actually being a designer. In other words, it provides you with starter templates for any social media platform. This helps me because it removes the guesswork from figuring out how big to make something.

Okay, I’m on the train to work… Happy that I published my post. I realized I forgot my toothbrush. 😭 This was important because I will be visiting my girlfriend place after work. Okay fine, I’m over it now… During my commute, I like to do this interesting thing ~ draw. For example, I slap on some nice beats and continued work on my drawing for Dronstadblog.🔥
The Worker Bee 🐝
When I got to work, I had lots of code to write for my project. Yet, I wanted to focus on my blog and promoting it. During lunch, I watched some PluralSite videos on ZBrush. Afterword, I decided to hang out with my favorite bloggers. After I posted a few interesting comments, I decided to visit Stoner blog. Then learned that my WordPress comments don’t show my site. 🤦 In other words, this whole time I was linking to some other magical site that doesn’t exist. As a result, using WordPress support, I was able to get help and fix my WordPress comments.
Evening Whiskey Shot 🥃
Later that night we went to a bar. I didn’t know these people. Yet, I still want. You never know, you might just meet another artist. The group was mostly talking about sports. For example, NBA or basketball. Yet, I don’t watch sports, so I stayed quiet for a bit. When they got off the topic, I was free to try out my conversation skills and connect with these people. To my surprise, the person who organized the event was an artist. On the other hand, she wasn’t practicing much because she is working as an office admin. Bang!! We all got out of our seats to see what that noise was! A guy in our group was laying on the floor. His chair exploded underneath him. I was about to break down laughing. Yet, I hesitated, I don’t know how candid I will sound if I start laughing my ass off. For this reason, we all got whiskey shots from the manager.
Home Run 🏃
After the bar, I found out that the Microsoft store stopped doing Hololens demo after 4 pm. The store is nearby the bar and we had made plans to visit. Then we rushed to catch the subway train. Yet, somehow we got on the wrong train. When we got off, we had to walk two avenues. I didn’t complain, cos I actually like walking, so it was fun. Eventually, we caught the train and made our way home.

Up to the present time, my about page was a disaster. Yet, I rewrote it and called it Striving to Become a Professional Artist. Not to mention, I decided to discuss my website mission because I want to help you avoid the trouble I went through. For example, I was using two voices to describe how to make an awesome about page. In other words, I would give an example of a fact about me and then analysis the next point. Even so, my goal is to give you something useful and I didn’t want to write a boring about page. Thus, I hope this second revision is clearer in its message and its place on my site.

Introduce yourself or the company. In fact, if we know more about you, it will help you build trust with the person visiting your site. Yet, picking the right voice is important because you don’t want to sound like something you’re not. For example, your buying something when you’re actually trying to sell something. That is to say, I’m still deciding whether I want to showcase my portfolio or create an area for learning. In other words, I’m looking for work, but I love-inspiring artists and seeing what they create. All things considered, I would love to know how I can divide my site, so it can handle both requests? To clarify, I thought the only way I can enjoy my life is if I had a career related in computers. Yet, I didn’t know that I could make computer art and create stunning games! After graduating from college, I had gained a degree in Multimedia Computer Programming. I was already an intern at a govt agency learning to program. As shown above, I lust for an opportunity to grow my passion and switch careers. Yes, I am stubborn at times, but it could be a good thing too!
Bring Out Your Character Through Images – Can you see the 🤑
Another way to be more personable is to share an image of you at your best moment. In other words, add a picture of you at work. For example, if you are in an office setting, grab a picture of yourself in a suit. For instance, I was reading How to Create a Great ‘ABOUT’ Page? and from the many examples, I enjoyed looking at action poses. Indeed, my favorite about pages is the EGOPOP and GUMMISIG. To put in another way, the GUMMISIG about page image is interesting because it’s from the top down view. In particular, a camera angle from that view gives the viewer more power. Thus, images can give you a way to connect with your potential customers or subscribers.

Then again, I’m not talking about fake stories, I’m saying you need to get testimonials from real people. By all means, if you get a project done with a 3D studio, they can write a few nice words about your work. At the same time, you can earn money from affiliate linking. Paint Nite Story
We are Paint Nite NYC. We paint in EVERY borough; from Times Square in Manhattan to Far Rockaway in Queens. Our goal is to add creativity to every New York City skyline at a venue near you.

The Paint Nite session started at the Essex Restaurant. Also, I found that the environment was chill and laid back. The timing was a bit rushed because

I was coming from work. For example, we had to squeeze in dinner and then start painting around 7 pm. Be that as it may, I ordered ESSEX FAMOUS POTATO PANCAKES and PAN SEARED ATLANTIC SALMON. Different from the main dish, FREE-RANGE ORGANIC CHICKEN BREAST. I decided to go with the latter. As a matter a fact, my friend ordered the food 20 mins before my arrival. In effect, we could eat and have enough time transition to painting.
Let’s Paint 🎨
All nerves and worrying aside, I knew I had to paint. Also, my goal was to learn something new. In the same fashion, we moved up to the second floor. Above, it was a small room with all the paint supplies you need to get started. For example, we had five colors, blue, red, white, black and yellow. Such as three brushes, small round brush, medium and large flat brush. Including, a green water bucket. In fact, we all had a mini metal easel. If your interested in getting an easel? What We Learned that Night 🎓
The artist is Bernard Garcia. In like manner, a talented artist who can study and break down a painting. Then show us how to paint it. In other words, He started us off by warming up our brushes and hand strokes.

For example, we used water to wet the canvas then used white color. Again, he had us paint the background Yet, we planned to paint the foreground towards the end. In other words, we started painting 1/3 of the canvas in red (top), then 1/3 of the bottom in purple.
The Dirty Truth 💩

As the Paint Nite drove closer to the by warming up our brushes and hand strokes. For example, we used water to wet the canvas then used white color. Again, he had us paint the wee hours I had realized that I couldn’t keep up with all the directions. For example, I had a hard time grasping how he broke down the painting. In other words, I realized that I was trying to follow his steps, but realized I could not. In the light of his technique, I can’t repeat all the steps because I don’t understand them well enough. Also, I found myself trying to turn my neck towards him, trying to make out what the next step would be. Of course, I was in a wrong place and his back blocked my view.
The Steps I Remember 🐾
We painted larger objects first, then worked on the detail later. For example, we painted large black trees, then added tree branches. To put in another way, I recall adding some blue and white color to the snow. In this case, snow on the ground was a wavy bluish white color. Yet, I avoided adding to much white because we planned to use it for highlights. Without delay, we added small trees in black for the background. After we created the main tree, they were in the shape of a triangle. As an illustration, they had an arrow on the top and a tree bark. Another key point, we painted an S stretched out shape while getting bigger as we went down to the base of the tree. Later, we added snowflakes with the back of our brush. Finally, we signed our names and took pictures.

Consideration for Cab in Manhattan 🚖
Ask cab driver if they aren’t going to pick up their kid or something. In other words, you can plan to get to your destination on time. Also, if you’re in the city like me, find out from the driver where and what time traffic is an issue. Yet, before you leave, set an alarm on your cell phone to order the taxi. For example, give your self an extra half hour. Later on, I learned that Toyota Camry, Altima can fit a few ski bags and two people. Like you can install the ski bag if the driver pushes the seat back. Yet, if you get an UBER XL, you can provide 3-4 ski bags. Also, if you’re in the Manhattan around 3-9 pm, don’t cross West-side highway from 57, 42, 34 or 23 because it takes forever!
What to pack it into? 🛍
The reusable ski packing checklist has many items. Yet, we need a place to put everything. Thus, I broke everything into simple lists because I wanted it easy to read.

3D studios are all over the world. Not to mention, I was going through my ArtStation emails, and I realized I got so many job locations. In the same light, it’s good to know where 3D studios are in the world. For example, see if any of these are near your home? However, I worry that the names of some of these places might change and the location. Thus, I created a table of location and studio name. In short, use this list to find 3D studios in your neighborhood. Otherwise, move to a place where there are more of them.

Dream 3D Studios 🤖
My dream studio should be in a cold place. At the time of writing, I was thinking about skiing. It would be super cool if I could work at Riot Games while I would go in as an intern for 3D or concept art. Not to mention, the work environment is excellent in many ways. Based on my research, Riot Games have fair pay, perks, advanced equipment, and a beautiful campus, to name a few. Although, reading some reviews on Glassdoor, seems not so great. Is it fair to ask, better to work there first, then cast judgment?

The inspiring image is from my wonderful ski trip to Mt Snow in Vermont. Also, I am fortunate enough to discover the teardrop technique. Not only, but it is also useful to me because it helps me to decide which colors to use in my artwork. Interestingly, I was on YouTube, and I discovered an excellent way tochoose colors!Plus, I can include the character into mylegendstories. Also, if you’re curious about the post, it’s about a heroic character living during the global warming crisis. Thus, going back to the tool, I encourage you to go ahead and try it out for yourself. I try to draw every day, but sometimes I work on 3D. For example, I created a small tutorial on building large towers using an Android app called “SpaceDraw.” Besides, I talked so much about 3D, so go ahead and check it out, it’s pretty sweet.

Adding varnish to my day, I decided to visit my girl’s parents place, the night before my ski trip. Not to mention, my girlfriend and I were leaving early in the morning. In the same light, her dad left early for work, so we took the bus to the train station. After all, we took the bus and left for the train. Finally reaching Atlantic terminal train stop and part ways.
The Eventual Packing Cube 🍱
Soon, I made it home to pack for the ski trip. In the same light, I’m glad I started early. Not to mention, I’m not a guru at packing! For example, I purchased AmazonBasics 4-Piece Packing Cube and Osprey Packs Ultra Light. I was able to fit all my regular and ski clothes into a DAKINE Limited Fall Line Ski Roller Bag. Yet, this year I’ve created a simple packing list and used it as a checklist. In other words, it helped me not forget my ski pants! All things considered, I plan to share it with you because it does speed up my pack and it will help you too!
The Chill Zone 🛀
Then I chilled and watched Charisma on Command. To be sure, it’s a show about improving your conversation with people around you. Including, this small gist of useful knowledge:

The First Ski Trip of the Season 🎿🏂
My Goal was to meet people on the bus to show them my art and grow my ski abilities. Yet, trying not to shit my self. For example, during my visit to my girlfriend parents place, I learned that my stomach was hurting. Before my ski trip, I was getting nervous with my pack. Thus, it made me want to go even more. What should I do now?
Trip Down 42 Street, Times Square 🚆
Bad idea to carry a big double ski big bag down 44 street or anywhere near 6 through 8 Ave. Never again! It’s a mob scene during rush hour. Yet, coming out of the subway, I couldn’t find an elevator at my stop, so I ended lugging my heavy ski bag up the subway steps. Again, so many theatre and restaurant places, but huge lines on the street. As a result, it made it so much harder for me to get to my destination. Thus, next time, I will take a cab, save myself the grief and hardship.

I started with a rough sketch using the sketchbook app. Yet, it wasn’t until a few weeks later where I decided to ink it and tighten up the line work. Then, I colored it by using marquee and paint bucket. Finally, I added multiply and screen layers to add shadow and highlights.

In contrast, this morning, I did not need to get up, bedridden, and ready to drink Upma tea. It’s a type of grain, also known as cream of wheat. Also, waking up to a friendly face is the best feeling in the morning: a breakfast dish and a touch of spice.

A Lesson on Drawing ✏️
Drawing dragons is fun. Not only, had already finished sketching the lines, and I was eager to start coloring them in. Also, I’m drawing from a book called DragonArt: How to Draw Fantastic Dragons and Fantasy Creatures. Today, I learned about using multiply and screen layers. For example, multiply with color selection allows you to paint on a shadow. However, the screen layer with color selection creates a highlight. After drawing, we had lunch and watched Once Upon a Time with Jennifer Morrison. We wanted to watch the Moon Raise Kingdom on Netflix.
After Gaming Session 🎮 🕹️
Later that day, I went to the dungeon with comfy couches and soft pillows. Thereupon, I watched two crazy fun sisters play Overcooked and Zelda. Not to mention, I gave them tips on moving through the levels. I enjoyed watching them squirm over losing. In the same fashion, you can get them for the Switch or PS4 gaming console. We played monopoly for a little bit, but it got boring, it is fun if more people join. Also, it has an online mode, but I didn’t try it.
