Drawing Plan Eight: Morning Half Hour Week Drawing Studies

Bastei Saxon Switzerland - drawing plan eight

Hi, friends, starting up my drawing plan eight. The other day I decided to import Trent’s gradient maps into Clip Studio. That was a pain. Halfway in, I lost a whole strip because I forgot to save. I must have spent the entire day on the task. My goal was to finish that up and report back to Trent. However, I can’t figure out how to give it to him. It seems the only way to share it is to publish it online with Clip Studio paint. You’re probably wondering what the heck is a gradient map. I found a tutorial as I was writing drawing plan eight, you might want to check it out.

In summary, a gradient map maps your values to your colors, so if you have a range from light red to dark red. You can check out my DeviantArt page. I have an example where I put together all my art studies, and the underlying color has the gradient map applied. Anyhow, let us move over to today’s drawing plan eight.

Drawing Plan Eight

What the heck is the drawing plan Eight? I finished morning pages fifty-five, that’s 165 pages. Shoot, I forgot to start the timer for my blog writing, and I think I spent like 10 minutes writing the top half. Anyway, today, I’m planning to find out a way to export Trent’s gradients, but I want to focus on a few rock studies as well. I didn’t get to draw much yesterday. Also, stay tuned, at 8:30 am, I will live stream bunny art invention for the DIET plan using Rueben Lara’s content. Invention step is all about how to incorporate everything i learned during the week into a 30-minute session. The excitement is mostly for me, but I encourage anybody who is trying to be creative to join in and practice alongside. Finally, let us move to the end of the drawing plan eight.

Finish line

So for Saturday, the drawing plan nine, I won’t have a live stream, but you can still join the session via Instagram TV. I always around 8:30 am, and starting early in the morning is a great time to learn. Also, your mind is fresh and ready to go as opposed to the evening after a long day. Also, feel free to show your work on social media and tag me so I can share it out. Anyway, that is the plan for today, and I’ll see you all later.
