Drawing Plan 14: Bloop, bloop. Squirt, dribble—clink, clink, bam.

Hi, friends, let us talk about yesterday and then move to the drawing plan 14. The day before included me wondering why it’s taking an hour and 14 minutes to write these every day. I badly wanted a solution to writing faster and wanted a way to springboard ideas. Then, I figured out that I can create a draft template to clone. The clone would have tags and some content that doesn’t change. Also, I needed a way to recall my ideas. Do you keep a highlight journal? Anyway, I’m planning on starting one up and hoping it will speed things up here. Anyhow, let us move to the next point, rock studies.

The Drawing Plan 13: Ribbit ribbit. Quack, quack. Ribbit, warble.

Hi, friends, let us talk about yesterday and then move to the drawing plan 13. The other day, I was writing the usual morning pages, then making my way to write the drawing plan 12. I’m slowly getting better and using the advice I got from my friend Nenad. He suggested I find a good time to post the drawing plans. Therefore, I created a tally board with a 12-hour clock. I’m going to slowly tally up the numbers from the reader to see what is the best time to post. However, generally speaking, it’s best to publish in the morning and not during the day when people are working.

I didn’t start to tally up anything yet, but I set it up. Anyhow, what else happened the other day?

Drawing Plan 12: Chug chug chug. Puff puff puff. Ding-dong.

Hi, friends, I want to talk about yesterday and then move to the drawing plan 12. I spent a bit more time writing out the drawing plan 11 because I got a few new ideas from my friend. Also, running on low sleep the other day’s morning pages took me longer to complete. I haven’t slept well in the past week. It’s because I let myself get away with watching too many shows. For example, I start preparing for bed around nine, but I don’t get to sleeping till 11 or twelve. Then I still need to wake up at 6 am. The solution is easy, but I can’t seem to let go.

Can I let go of watching late-night shows? I guess the better solution is to limit them to once a week, or maybe that’s a bit harsh. Anyhow, let us move to the drawing plan 12.

    Nightly Art Recording Pencil Sketch

Hello Masters, I want to tell you about my nightly art recording. For example, it will include a Yeti microphone, boom arm, stool and desk pencil sketch I had drawn in the late hours of my day. Also, I’m experimenting with the idea of making nightly art to share with you. At the end of the post, if you can please let me know your thoughts.

    Graphite Pencils

    Nightly Art

Right before bed, I was browsing around the WordPress reader community looking at the art tagged areas for inspiration. Then, I started drawing with my graphite pencils, but immediately got distracted by Amazon shopping app on my cell phone. Why? Do you ever get bored from a routine you do? My nightly art plan was to make a box and bring cross-hatching to my paper. My brain liberated me and told me to illustrate what I see on my wishlist!

What is on my Nightly Art Recording wishlist?

I have a wishlist for recording system equipment. In particular, I want to set up a small desk to record art and share it with you. The list contains a Yeti microphone, boom arm, a box with switches and a tower that will house my cell phone to record the video/podcast. I know it’s a mouthful! I don’t have all the parts figured out. Especially the box with switches, hehe! I don’t plan on getting it all tonight.

    Recording System

The drawing below is created using graphite general pencils 2H, HB, and 2B. I used regular loose leaf paper. Without giving away too much detail, I wanted to plan out my recording system, so I decided to draw it. Considering you made it to the end of the blog post, I guess you enjoyed reading it right? If you did or didn’t, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I appreciate any feedback you provide. Also, some links may contain affiliate links to Amazon. If you do purchase anything, thank you because while at no extra cost to you, I will make a small commission. By using my links you support my art, so thank you if you decide to buy.

    7th Dragon III Code: VFD

Today, I want to be an artist. Ha! I’m an artist every day. I see things. If your new to my blog, please check out striving to become a professional artist so that I can give you a proper introduction. A few weeks ago a coworker approached me and told me 7th Dragon III Code: VFD game he had purchased. It came with an artbook. He knew I was into digital art and recommended I draw a waterfall scene from the game. Specifically, he wanted the Cladeon Environment. Immediately, I signed up and started painting. I used all my knowledge from my earlier experience with the Nightmare to produce a free magical land with waterfalls. While I didn’t have art direction from Dronstad, I focused on making sure my land looks as realistic as possible. Creating shadows on the outer parts of the drawing, reminding myself where the light is flowing from and slightly stressing myself that I don’t know much about composition. The artwork started on June 11 and ended July 14.

How I pushed through my struggle?

Honestly, I haven’t played 7th Dragon III Code: VFD *, but I had watched him play it. It reminds me of Final Fantasy 7 because of the odd in shape character graphics. While rendering my art, I started to fear that my brush strokes are going on autopilot for the past few weeks now. When that happens to me, I get bored, and It’s usually a signal that I need to move on to another project. Before I got to this point, I went through a few challenges, while developing my skills. My experience and confidence came to me from my previous drawing for Dronstad with the Nightmare painting. While drawing, I got comfortable with Jason’s texture brushes. However, now I feel like I’m relying too heavily on them. The brushes create unplanned happy accidents as I render my art. I want to go out on a limb and say I’m a fake artist! 😭 Then I remind myself that I’m the one moving and make the brush strokes. The ideas are coming from my brain, and it’s my struggle. So I digress. I’m bored now, and I want to take on a new challenge. I want to be able to plan out my drawings and spend less time rendering. Again, I said it before in the Nightmare, no studio is going to hire somebody who takes weeks to finish a single piece of art. Unless you’re a well-known artist with a trustworthy reputation, then this might not apply.

Mom saw the 7th Dragon III Code waterfall landscape.

    She started saying the following words;

Mom

    Translation

The amazing power of living water. Who looks at this miracle of nature and hears the noise of the water of the waterfall through the fog … imagine that you are standing next to the fog will dissipate and you will regain health and strength to live. Blessed be the Lord who creates for us all that is necessary. Mom
