    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M05

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share May’s resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully.

    Meaningful Connection

    👓 What’s New?

I’m super excited about my recent discovery of 💭 Using the open graph view in Obsidian to find topics to discuss during my monthly connection. I always wondered which files had incoming links in the last month. I want to see what my mind has been curious about in May. Suddenly, it clicked. I had to set the created date as part of the filter. Then use a feeling link, depth, and incoming links to find notes. Ultimately, all I have to do now is open my feelings and see what I wrote. The first message is 💭 Blender low poly modeling because it had the most extended connection depth. I think that is an excellent strategy to follow my interests. More so, I got inspired by an artist who organically created a bunch of art. Not sure how to explore that bit yet. However, the artist’s name was Kirsten Zirngibl. A few vital points in thinking where I want to find a way to use Blender to improve my art workflow. How can I be more organic and free? Finally, how can I allow the process to guide me? The thoughts came about because I don’t want to force my illustrations and prefer they come organically.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During May, I chose something that I rated high and now is in my life. Moving further into 💭 Blender low poly modeling, I found a video 📥 2D Artists you have a 3D SECRET WEAPON in Blender by Marco Bucci where he wields the Grease Pencil and does a block out of shapes to quickly get me started on drawing my ideas. I was curious about how to combine 2D and 3D together. Then, I wrote down a few highlights during the presentation, and the few that stood out to me were related to my workflow. I can quickly make a scene using simple shapes and start drawing in Blender to plan my ideas. Then continue adding more blocks and lights without color. Throughout the video, I want to make variants of my faces. Clip Studio Paint has models I can draw on top. Also, I like the light moving in Blender because I can control and understand how light plays a role in making my scene alive. Finally, I love drawing in 3D space with a Grease pencil because I can quickly plan my pieces. These helpful resources will guide me and elevate my art further as I grow in my artist journey.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For May, I will choose a few things that sprouted to my attention and need to be elaborated upon further. While reviewing my notes, I came across why it is vital to learn empathy. In context, telling my truth to people when I’m ready is a chance at compassion. While taking down the note, I felt curious and inspired, leading to the following thoughts. I can find a connection to practicing empathy for people. Then I asked the question, where can I be myself? I started to witness the thought that I was hurting others by sharing my mind. Then, I should only share my mind with those I trust. A lot of people are injured and afraid. As a result, I need to learn to be more gentle.

Moving to the next bit that inspired me to was 💭 Saving money with cooking. Then, building on the following ideas points:

    • Groceries cost $100 + Labor
    • The Monthly is $400, and I don’t feel the balance
    • 50$ for both breakfast and lunch
    • 50*7 = $350 a week if I were to buy out
    • If I choose to eat out all the time. 350*4=$1400 a month
    • $200 Labor a week plus $100 for groceries
    • I’m looking at increasing my budget
    • $300 each week or $1200 per month

Then I thought of a hybrid system

    • $130 once a month + $100 groceries
    • $300 for other days + $230 = $530 a month

I need help but prefer to spend less than $100 on a cook. In the end, I went to Thumbtack to hire a professional cook, interviewing many candidates and writing out a pitch to find somebody to assist me in improving my cooking. Meanwhile, I came up with a hiring raise, and I’m eager to share it in case you need it.

“Hi, I’m living the keto lifestyle and would like to hire a helper to speed up my cooking. I do the shopping, and you help me cook/prep. What would it cost to hire help you to help me prepare meals for the week on Sunday? How many hours can you commit? Thanks & kind regards, Vye.”

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Throughout May, I had many thoughts coming and going, but I was able to capture the reflections, musings, and memories. Of such interest, Build a PCU solar-powered hat because it’s a fun memory of my coworkers joking around. The idea is to build a Personal Cooling unit (PCU) solar-powered, ICE, and water-sustaining cycle hat. Meanwhile, I forgot what ICE stood for, but if you have an idea, please leave it in the comments. I did a funny idea generator with my coworkers, which became interesting. I remember feeling joyful, and I had some thoughts about the idea. For example, I want to avoid creating junk and let China profit. Let’s build in the USA. I learned I’m passionate about keeping the money flowing inside the US.

On a more serious note, see what I did there. I have encountered issues with my digestion as I continued my journey with the keto lifestyle. 💭 My digestion cant handles the fiber, and I wanted to find a solution. For example, I can’t suddenly increase weight, fat, and carbs because my body can’t fully handle fiber. I needed to find a healthy balance, so I felt some strength and fear during my discovery. I needed to find a healthy balance, so I felt some power and anxiety during my discovery. Then other thoughts came, such as my weight kept falling—stomach pain from overeating. Also, not confident if I’m going into fat-burning mode while on a Keto lifestyle.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

Well, we are at the end of May’s review, and my biggest complaint is my loneliness, for the most part. I’ve been praying for spiritual guidance using the Healing Code to discover why my past trauma is holding me back from seeking freedom. Throughout my hints of inspiration to run and do something drastic, I almost always have some terminator in my mind to keep me from attaining spiritual balance. However, to keep winning, by the end of June, I will be attending 📥 Meditation retreat at the NJ Mahasi Meditation Center, where I will do the Vipassana Meditation. To my surprise, it’s similar to any regular type of meditation with the following steps.

    • Bells throughout to notice my body tends to drift.
    • Identify objects, thoughts, sounds, and emotions.
      • Say emotions
      • Don’t judge, and let go.
      • Go back to the breath.

Meanwhile, it’s intense because I will be under meditation for ten days straight to gain insight into my demons and seek freedom from the control of negative emotions. I am seeking a release from the impermanence of feeling but a transient loving force.

On a lighter note, I’m thinking of doing a live stream https://www.twitch.tv/vyechi while I try to read my blog post. So, feel free to jump in if it starts or catch the highlights later attached to this blog post.

Well, that’s it for May; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M04

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share April’s resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully.

    Meaningful Connection

    👓 What’s New?

Well, ever since I stopped journaling my achievements and switched to more of what’s fresh on the plate, I had to be more creative. As of late, I am a fantastic cook. I can make Kimchi, Golden Liquid with fermented rice. I love the sour, hot spicy, rich, flavored kimchi mixed with crispy veggies. I’m learning a ton about nutrition and glad to find that the knowledge is quickly becoming wisdom. When I dated my previous ex, her mother was a witch doctor in Chinese cooking. Since I love the environment so much, I have a strong affinity for that passion.

Meanwhile, my most significant achievement is learning how to flip food while sautéing. I love it cos it adds so much joy to my morning breakfast. While sauteing, I feel the excitement while the food lands back on the pan. Moving off from the cooking vibe, I recently spruced up my YouTube channel branding. I’m thinking about reading my blog posts. I know of a blogger who had some success in doing so. Anyhow, let’s move into resonating thoughts.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During April, I recently touched CoDA, the making choices book. Before jumping into the reading, CoDA stands for Co-Dependents Anonymous—a place for healing relationships and seeking a healthy mindset. In comparison, I was explicitly creating my affirmations. While searching for what changed, I came across a question. How can I include my feelings while thinking about my obstacles? It was clever to have my Higher Power because my feelings could link to my ideas. Pausing is something hard for me. The thought universe as I grow and question what is happening in my mind. I come to realize that I have a choice. The ability to reflect on my actions and learn. Nothing new; what’s special? Well, if I feel my feelings and don’t shove them away. I can link them to other events in my life. Then create a strong bond and grow. Therefore, if I bring my boundaries and goals into the picture and will come to know my Higher Power.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

As April rages on, my greenhouse continues to receive fresh herbs. Recently while moving my obsidian vault, I discovered that Windows likes to hide folders. I was trying to clone my repository, and it would fail to connect. Later I realized that I had to move the hidden git folder, which tells GitHub what to fetch. Therefore, it was time to amend my readme file and add some documentation to troubleshoot that problem out of existence.

Nevertheless, compared to another note, I discovered a reflection with the following question. What are some things I realized when I got mature? I came across the question on a dating community. However, what’s interesting is becoming an adult, accepting things for what they are, and not trying to control them. I felt strong because I’m in CoDA, so I know it’s a process that comes and goes. In other words, progress and not perfection.

Meanwhile, I learned that I must care for my basic needs to see any progress. Therefore, I continue seeking inspiration from CoDA Community and my soul coach and therapist sessions. Thus, I’m going to move on to the nourishment part next.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

As I strapped myself in for the mental nourishment, I understood a new combined threat. I feel fear while writing those words, and I need to find a way to remove or create a new section. It was a good idea to combine this section with the above. I will have to find a way to avoid duplication. However, I will focus on something other than tackling that issue right now. I love the note on what I found attractive in my women. I was dating Jul last year, and I made a list. As I was making the list, I felt delighted and had a strong love for her. I love that she has jet black hair, traveling vibes, a body shape that is so huggable, helpful when I’m not feeling good, fun facial expressions, easygoing, and recharges me when I spend time with her. While I miss her so much and wish she was in my life forever, I did get to explore the person who would give me the kind of love I desire. The plan is to seek a personality that makes me feel good about being me. Let’s move toward the end of the fun in the consciousness section.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

For the close of April, I’m seeking to learn to cook my remaining scraps while being environmentally balanced. Every weekend, I pushed myself to the brink of breaking because I overpack my schedule and don’t give myself enough room for spiritual maintenance. I’m always thinking about fixing or tweaking something for the better, such as utilizing my resources in the Obsidian. However, I found a small silver lining during my sleeping hour. I started praying my 30 points around my stomach while connecting with my Higher Power. As soon as I start channeling the Healing Code, I immediately repair issues of the heart, which brings me deeper sleep and a bright future ahead.

Sidebar, I’m planning to live stream while I try to read my blog post. So, feel free to jump in if it starts or catch the highlights later attached to this blog post. Also, below is my latest creation from Japanese folklore – Kasa Jizou.

Catch the vlog reading on Twitch ^ ^ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1812510729

Well, that’s it for April; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.

  • 💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M03

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M03

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share March resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations.

    Meaningful Connection

    👓 What’s New?

A significant departure from my notes, I decided to pause on the reviews and focus my energy on what’s resonating, feelings, and thoughts. I want to continue refining my discoveries to build meaningful connections with the content I consume. I made the subconscious choice because I needed to do something more vital with the content. Moreso, it took a lot of copy-pasting and tweaking queries throughout the week to get my monthly review together. After that, I plan to revisit the thoughts and morning pages. In addition, I’m practicing the CE 5 Protocol and Healing Code, which calms my soul and provides growth.

In other news, I added a new menu on my blog to represent you. I will draw a line and your initials when you donate at any time. The more times you donate, the thinker the line will get. First and last initial near the bar.

    🔔 What is resonating?

I listened to Mary and Ken talk in CoDA UK for steps 8 and 9 (https://codauk.org/ken-and-mary-2019/). I remember being avoidant with my family and letting my authority figure of fear control me. Then the discovery about my childhood interaction with others left me wondering: What do amends look like for me? Because for the longest time, I had blamed the outside world for my feelings. It has left me seeking balance and wisdom. I will find balance through continuously journaling and reflecting on the areas of my interest. In particular, it’s good for me to monitor my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Forgetting to pray and pause is a common theme in my life. I quickly get excited about cooking. When I cook and try to improve my health, I spend copious hours understanding and implementing ideas. Where is the pause button? Mary and Ken discuss the concept of chasing for an answer. Am I in a place to hear the truth? For much of my life, I shut those thoughts off subconsciously and feared the reality of the situation. In CoDA, its a progress and not perfection. I found a small silver lining, praying and hanging signs to remind me to pause. It’s okay not to know myself at the very moment and to be lost. For now, I will find myself soon. It is remembering that I cannot always let fear be my authority figure.

Fear is a figure that blows through my boundaries, not a loving Higher Power who wants the best for me. I could skip filling my plate with complete nutrition or leave a few dishes in the sink. Overall, the problem I aim to solve is moving from a position of weakness to a more balanced lifestyle. Meanwhile, I know I cannot control and blame others but improve myself.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For the month, I will choose something that is sprouting and needs to be elaborated upon further. The most exciting thing to guide the mind will be questions that require complex answers. Questions have many answers too. Some time ago, I started collecting my top 12 favorite problems to find solutions. It will guide me to search for information instead of mindlessly highlighting everything I see on the interwebs. Feynman coined the idea to chip away at challenging issues in life.

The plan is to continue questioning the content I consume and testing it against the question. The problems that come from life very well reflect my core values. For example, if I want to expand my ability to show kindness to others, I must ask the following question. How can I find balance while having the desire to grow? Which lead me to CoDA step 4 and 5. I must keep an inventory of my actions toward others and promptly admit when I’m wrong so I can reflect and grow as a human being to society.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Throughout March, I had many thoughts that differed from my objective notes. However, most of the time, the feeling is inspired. I plan to find a better way to resurface those feelings in my notes, but I’m going based on what I can dig out by modified time.

Speaking to my friend about dating, he made a connection to resumes. The profile is like a highlight of the best version of myself. After I meet the person, I can further elaborate on my vulnerability, weakness, and plans for the future. He mentioned that it is essential to maintain my anonymity for purposes of equality. Until I know them and they are “safe” to share with, I might want to keep parts of me hidden.

For example, perhaps it wouldn’t be a good idea to share my past trauma. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m proud of my journey personally, but I’ve noticed certain words trigger a misunderstanding (like codependent), so I leave them out. Further into the future, my grandmother told me that couples rub off each other over a while and learn what love entails. In other words, I can understand love when I sense the inner suffering of my better half.

I plan to validate my life with what I love to do to attract the correct type of energy.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

As March passed, I started doing fewer daily, weekly, and monthly reviews. My therapist suggests I focus my energy only on gratitude and feeling my feelings. I decided to change because I felt overwhelmed with my desire to cook in the keto lifestyle. Since my weekends include art, shopping, and cooking, I want to involve myself spiritually and take more vacations during the week, so my life goes smoother.

  • 💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M02

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M02

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share February’s resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations.

    👓 What’s New?

I’m making progress with journaling and keeping an eye on my life. Meanwhile, I’m working primarily on Acts SharePoint. During work hours, I found myself in drama with a coworker and me. Then I visited the dentist to find out I was doing an excellent job with my teeth minus the grinding.

Meanwhile, I started stepping back on hosting every weekend. I then managed to hang out at the Marsh with a friend. Then I learned about the green veggies and cheese benefits from kidney stones.

During February, I had many personal achievements. I was starting with the ability to defer my frustration with a coworker while successfully pausing to pray for guidance so I could seek happiness from within. Further, I tried to understand the pricing for hospitality on care.com and picked out a few candidates. Another coworker surprised me and said he noticed many positive changes due to my new keto lifestyle. It made me feel good because proving through my actions is the best way to a living success. Finally, I could draw a card for grandpa with limited time on his birthday.

More importantly, my career growth had a few exciting twists and turns. In the jQuery world, I quickly completed promises and synced ajax calls despite others saying it would take too long. While things got dicey at times, I would pause to allow some input from our team and reserve speaking. That allowed me to understand the problem and eventually come to a solution. Finally, I always prepare notes at work for the coming days. That allowed me to improve my knowledge transfer to my boss progressively.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During February, I chose something that I rated above four and now is in my life. Because of such quality, I decided how to use the healing code. The idea is to adjust the negative or positive energies surrounding me. I heal by using truth statements as affirmations to target my flaws or obstacles that prevent me from limiting beliefs that hold me from my potential. The process takes around 15 mins, and the target is a single issue at a time. I will use different hand positions during the event and read a statement about what appears true. The goal is to create reflection and unearth the hidden gem that could move me to a new level of understanding. Below is an example of a true statement that I like to use:

Perhaps I Am Lovable Just the Way That I Am

    What is yours?

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For February, I will choose something that is sprouting and needs to be elaborated upon further. The spout that comes to mind is grounding meditation because it’s a document I improve every Wed and Saturday at the Art Meetup. Now and then, when I perform the meditation, I add or remove lines that open our hearts to drawing out our inspiration. Moreover, I like to reflect on the ropes because of the deep inspiration. For example, “what’s heavy on our soul as we come back” speaks of my long day at work or the pain of not accomplishing my goal of owning property in Manhattan. That thought is essential, and I will not give it less priority. However, I must draw and find a way to use that negative energy and channel it through my breath. Moreso, I always have a choice to reflect and find happiness.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Throughout February, I had many thoughts different from the objective Zettelkasten notes. While writing the mental nourishment section, I realized I could use my thought notes as a placeholder for status, which would help me choose letters from my thought area. The thought that comes to mind is a question.

What is the difference between trust and being comfortable with somebody? I won’t use the names for anonymity, and here comes the context. In my mind, I feel comfortable when the other person doesn’t expect happiness from me. If I get a happy feeling from the person and they push me to be better in a way that I feel I’m ready for, then I build comfort. Trust is like someone lying to me and using me for other agendas. Comfort me opening up at a reasonable rate, and another person is okay with it. I remember feeling fear because I tend to push people away when I say something wrong. Also, I can apologize and try to understand through reflection.

What did I learn? Both words are different, and comfort is a higher-level word. Thus, I can only be comfortable once I trust the other person. Therefore relationships require more time to develop.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

Moving near the end, I like to grab a summary of the month or some obstacles I faced. For February, I cooked every weekend. First, I needed to revisit my blessing, so I find balance. My most vital lesson is the feeling of frustration Moving between tasks too quickly, and not finding a chance to go inward. I noticed I got burned a lot because I’m either not paying attention to my body or over-invest in my work. My goal for next month is to focus on internal happiness and not on others around me. Therefore, I must continue healing code and going to bed early.

More or less, I struggled with keeping myself in balance and giving myself an actual deadline with so many gaps in knowledge to complete the NFT drawings. Next time I’ll overcome it by planning to draw days and how I can finish something simple. Instead, I could do an abstract piece to build my confidence and succeed with my balance.

💝 Walking Away with the roses

Well, that’s the month of February. I added a new menu called Give and Coach, so feel free to look around and share what’s on your soul.

  • 💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M01

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M01

Welcome to #meaningful #connection, where I share #resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations from my month of January.

    👓 What’s New?

My biggest accomplishment for the month was completing holiday cards for my family. I started drawing on 2022-11-24 and finished it a week later than the plan. I hand-drew eight different cards. The goal was to make quick sketches and see what I liked on the internet before putting them together. Then create text in various languages and sign each card. Then I made a budget of 160 dollars to split among each card. The best part about doing the cards was the live streaming on Twitch because it made it super fun and gave a way to mediate and take breaks while illustrating. A single most exciting discovery was when creating the cards, don’t make the cards out to a particular person. Instead, let the creative process be fun and open. Then, in the end, I started discovering who to gift.

My most significant career achievement was when I started creating a map of content for my projects at work. I didn’t use Obsidian because, at work, we use OneNote, so I decided to modal my notebook using the PARA method. Then it was alright to create the idea of linking my thinking.

I should pause and pray during the Imaginative Illustrator events. In other words, I can seek balance in everything I do. So, I decided to tear off my notes from my monitor except for the word pray.

Sometimes I have a vision of my encounters, which makes me upset. After speaking to my mom and therapist, they suggested I reframe the picture and tell it I’m not afraid. Then perhaps it will decrease its hold on my life.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During January, I chose something that I rated above four and now is in my life. With that in mind, I got the Om Mani Padme Hum the true meaning. It’s a YouTube video that got many views and ran about one minute and 25 seconds. The author left a summary for us: Aum is the body, speech, and mind. It’s also the opening to the four syllables—impure practitioner. The budda is pure, a practice to Buddhahood’s development path. An intro to the meaning of the words.

After going through the initial dive, I left with more questions than answers. In other words, I had to do deep reflection to discover the truth. Even if the explanation was clear, the chant was meaningless unless I knew the real reason for each word. What’s more, even if I knew the reason, it wasn’t enough to free myself of the burden of learning it. I needed a way to relate it to my personal life to find a profound connection.

While dating an Indonesian woman, I discovered the true meaning of Infinite Altruism. I had to try to understand the person’s suffering before loving them. Even after our breakup, I tried to make sense of it. Letting go of something with such beauty was not easy, even if I loved her. Both of us were suffering from trust issues and weren’t ready to give up our past to be bold together.

Therefore, as I pass through Mani, I reflect on my Padme as it grows through the mock of the earth into something clean and beautiful. As time goes by, every day reveals my stuck places, but I have the option first to acknowledge that it happened, each event has internal beauty, and I can always gain something even if I have to give it up. In the end, finding a beginning, it’s a balance that I must seek, and the process continues.

Given the opportunity, I will continue to remind myself it’s about progress and not perfection.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For January, I will choose some sprouting things that need to be elaborated upon further. Of such caliber, I need to hire a personal cook helper. I’m looking for a helper to prepare my meals because it will speed things up regarding my stress level. Also, allow me to learn faster. In other words, the cook and I will work together to make the meals.

Meanwhile, I can learn a few tricks, which lead me to do a google search and eventually to care.com. I don’t know much about hospitality service, but I must explore it to live a balanced life. In turn, the action will promote my cooking and improve my health. What’s more, it is like a mental massage because I will be investing in life.

Next on my list, balance core value is growing in the number of connections in my daily life. I have noticed a desire to expand and prove myself. For example, I get triggered when I make a mistake. Then I completely forget about my body. As the new year started, I accumulated numerous links to gain insight into seeking balance. For example, during my relationship with my love, I came across a question: How do I want to be treated? I came to know that I needed to be a glass half empty before fear sets into my response. While working with my therapist, I’m more impulsive when I don’t meet my needs, so I need to seek balance in everything I do. As such, reflection and pausing are dear to me.

Therefore, to be treated respectfully, I must take care of myself and seek my internal happiness.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

As January moved beyond our reach, I had many thoughts that differed from the more traditional object bullets. Some time ago, I decided to focus on feeling content because those are visited every morning or if I get triggered. Of such interest, the happy feeling has been at an all-time high compared to others. The feeling is described as pleasure or contentment, while I use it as an adjective.

While listening to Alexa, a song titled “A Clear Night” by Jeff Pearce got me into a feeling of happiness and sadness. It took me back to when I skied with my ex and had an opportunity to explore the world outside of New York. As a result, I learned I need to travel more with friends and build new memories.

Travel more on my own to find a unique experience. Therefore, maybe I can plan to travel to Calgary or Colorado to create something great.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

Moving near the end, I like to grab a summary of the month or some obstacles I faced. I drew holiday cards for the family while live streaming Twitch. I met with Tyler Tseng, Brian Relph, Soul Coach, and Mark Haskins and had an art meetup. Meanwhile, I visit Chinatown throughout the week. Mostly regular days at DCAS. On weekends, I went shopping, cooked, did an art meetup, and sometimes did no bible study.

Interestingly, I was obsessing over the Bluetooth issue. I focused on the Acts project and ski planning with Edi at work. Sometimes, I felt the urge to defend the Act’s existing system to try to get it to work, which led to good and bad days because I did things without balance.

I struggled with balance and keeping an eye on it, especially with my recent breakup. I’m spending only a little time on social media to prove I’m worth it. Next time I will keep doing the healing code. Something may come of it.

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2022-M12

Welcome to #meaningful #connection, where I share #resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations from my month of December.

    👓 What’s New?

During December, my most significant personal achievement was the Development of 💭 For the love of the spirit of affirmations. Because It might help me further develop my mind. The idea is to combine obstacles, feelings, affirmation, gratitude for myself, and a connection to my higher power. In doing so, I can remember to do better with my triggers. For example, I used to have a habit of eating and watching a show in the morning, and I removed it. To do so, I journaled my feelings of unhappiness and then spoke my affirmation. The affirmation I use is, “I keep my schedule open, so I have balance in my life.” Then I would pray to ⛰️ My Higher Power and combine that with gratitude to focus on the positive. For example, I would say I am inspecting my thoughts closely and try proving to myself that I can be a happy person and have ways to do that. Aside from that, I had many other accomplishments, but I want to zero in on my career next.

Also, my most significant career achievement in December was completing an offline app feature for a large angular app. While working on the item, getting a coworker’s input is vital to spot many logic issues. Unfortunately, the part is hard to fix, and I must get more eyes on it so the team can succeed.

In other news, my productivity was getting better because I started my bedtime routine at 9:30 pm almost every day, which gave me the ability to have more capacity during the day and process my expanding desire to learn. Also, giving up watching shows while eating helped me pause and reflect. It allowed me to work on my projects.

In late November, I started drawing holiday cards project for my family and was able to complete everything before the new year. However, it took longer than expected, and I passed my deadline by a week. Nevertheless, I finished eight-holiday cards, all hand drawn.

While the project went well, I learned a few things throughout the weeks. For example, one valuable lesson was that I only need to take on challenges in the morning once I finish my breakfast. Otherwise, I get frustrated or upset, which can cause stomach issues. Also, dont eat and watch shows because that will cause problems with how much I eat and how I feel afterward.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During December, my goal is to choose an input that is in finished status or has some juice to share. Of such caliber, I found a meeting that occurred on 18 December from CoDA. We covered the pamphlet The Making Choices Book and read the section Create your Affirmations. I learned that affirmations are powerful when using them for a goal. Such as, I want to manifest the type of person I want to be, like Honesty Core Value. However, the best part about the reading was the following point.

We put them into positive language. In other words, “I am a valuable person” is more affirming than “I’m not worthless.”

    The Making Choices Book

To create affirmations, I can refer to my obstacles to create positive language. All in all, It gives me a target or goal that I can plan objectively.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For December, I will choose a mature idea I developed in my incubator. Looking at my list, I have yet to have the time to work on anything new. However, I noticed my note on How to organize and process a quick capture log. In that note, I have a line saying to use the fleeting notes app, but as of late, I moved my fleeting notes to Google Keep and embedded them inside Obsidian. I aim to use the notes to inspire further inspection of ideas and build new concepts. Using Google Keep is super easy and always available on my phone. One critical issue that has affected me was the inability to keep up with my fleeting notes. The idea is to process them at the end of the day or so, but I noticed that they tend to sit for a long time before they get off that list. I will follow up if I find a clever way to process them.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Meanwhile, as of December, I had many thoughts that differed from the notes of the objective Zettelkasten. I am still figuring out how to choose which notes I should share. I need to link it up with a rating system. Earlier I spoke about 🗺️ Feelings MOC. The idea is to get an overall sense of what’s happening each month, and I’m not sure how to get those results yet. I plan to use the influx plugin, check the highest feeling and see what thoughts connect to it. Starting from today, the surface with the most hits was happiness. Therefore I will choose one and talk about it briefly.

In particular, my ex asked me what a relationship means to you. The following list came about:

    • Living together, we will come to know
    • I felt happy cos she wanted to move to the next step.
    • When I get upset, she won’t get triggered and will wait for me to work through it
    • I feel safe sharing my emotions
    • Helping each other during tough times
    • A relationship needs commitment
    • I don’t believe in marriage, but if we must, if our finance is too far apart, then a prenup is in order.
    • We are Patient
    • Active/Sports/Walks/Travel
    • Great in bed
    • Doesn’t make me worry
    • Clear Zodiac Signs
    • Respect, and be a glass half empty before fear. I briefly reviewed the first tradition and noticed that the relationship is more vital than a focus on self.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

Anyway, going to wrap up the month. I had struggled with my balance, and now ex. Next time I get into a relationship with somebody who is international, I will state the requirement of a prenup or be financially similar to me. Also can move to the United States without any issues from my family. Working out these problems while being four months into the whole thing is a lot of emotional baggage. My biggest thing is trust is earned and not freely given. So many don’t understand that fact. Money is no exception. Divorce is at an all-time high and is hard to go based on the word. Human emotions tend to be erratic. People change once they move to a new country, family, or person they love. I’m so tired of proving my worth to partners. Moreso, my gut was telling me that I was not comfortable with the whole arrangement, and I was about to give the gift of citizenship and perhaps a better life in America.

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2022-M11

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations from my month.

    👓 What’s New?

The first week, I got the booster shot, then continued fasting and added nuts to my diet cos I was losing too much weight. Obsidian sync with plugins was bugging me, so I turned it off. Later that week, I spoke to my girl about marriage. I’m cooking much faster with dirty Keto.

The second week, I was hiking at Cold Spring and looked at Accessibility by PayPal. Fasting and working while hiking. Fall age is in full swing. My girl wasn’t candid with her feelings about a prenup. In a different vein, I ended up not going to Terry Town cos of the rain. Vet Day, get the day to be home. Shopping at an art meetup was fun with so many folks at Bryant park because it felt festive.

In the third week, I booked some vacation time with a friend. Keto is better for the cells to adapt. Also, my emotions are in training for the new diet. I started using Cronometer to track my meals to get an idea of how my meals run. The carbs are high. I didn’t know SI had unique hiking places, such as Greenbelt. But the food wasn’t as good, and the soup gave me a stomach ache. The weekend went by fast, decided to spend some time with my parents and cook some meals. A bit worried about my dad’s chest pain. Then I realized that I shouldn’t eat unless hungry might not apply to chia seeds.

During the final week, an unexpected Verizon bill caught me off guard. Finally, Keto is off; it could be carbs or the chia seeds making me less hungry. I am making good progress on the wizard at work. I spoke to my brother during the thanksgiving party. Not only that, but I talked to a friend and made some great fish. I attended an art meetup but felt tired at the end of the day with a headache. Likewise, I was cooking and cleaning as usual on Sunday. Furthermore, I enjoy talking to my girl, and we usually speak well.

    Biggest Personal Achievement

    • I was hiking on my own at Bryant Park.

    Biggest Career Achievement

    • Accessibility discovery PayPal or getting better at UI/UX

    My Learnings

    • One valuable lesson is that I can only run well with sleep.
    • Next month I will improve on eating only, but not watching TV shows.
    • I will try to stop eating chia seeds in the morning unless I’m doing a long fast.

    🔔 What is resonating?

During the meaningful monthly connection, I will choose a single item that speaks to me. The most exciting article was CoDA The Making Choices Book From Self-abuse to Self-care.

What did I learn from this reading?

    • Step four was a relief.
    • I Learned that I hid behind games, food, and shows.
    • STR journaling as a reflection
    • Hope is that affirmations like the following will resurface
      • “We may have avoided life with the help of mood-altering substances such as drugs, alcohol, and food.”
      • “We came to see our codependent characteristics as our strategies for coping with the overwhelming stress and trauma we experienced in childhood.”

How does this apply to my recovery?

    • I only sometimes take my time and give myself headspace. That’s when trouble starts.
    • Again, if it happens, then I pause and reflect. Try to channel the negative energy out. What can I do to cheer myself up?
      • Then I went for a walk and spent the time near the water.
    • When affirmations are said, Feeling my Feelings and what cognitive Distortion comes up and how I can reflect.
    • Mantra to repeat
    • Circles of life

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For the month, I will choose a mature idea I developed in my incubator. Organize and Process Quick Capture Log is a great place to start because it covers how to process Resonating thoughts and organize my vault in Obsidian. For example, I can begin a Daily Practice of Capturing using a Fleeting Notes App such as Google Keep. Then, review the task list, and see what is vital for today. Afterward, I can review unprocessed Fleeting Notes and sort them, so I understand how to process the ideas that resonate with me. Finally, I can use my Quick Capture Workbench to sort through the items in the list below.

    How to organize?

    Order is vital

    1. My Tasks Plugin
    2. Waiting Buckets
      • Book notes started in red.
      • RainDrop.io
      • Pocket
      • ReadWise

The order restarted, but I think you see the waiting buckets.

    1. My Projects
      1. Most relevant
      2. Deadline
    2. My Areas
    3. My Resources
    4. My Archives

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

For November, I had many thoughts that I chose to reflect on and create some plans. For example, What type of affirmations exist in categorization?

    • I want to create a collection of affirmations that can resurface quickly. If I have a collection type, I can make a resource and promptly go to that location, then pick out something that resonates with me and further reflect.
    • I remember feeling determined and making further reflections. For example, I think The Artist’s Way has some affirmations, and also, the long hand poems, if you will, from the Torah have verses for healing according to the category of affliction. I want to do similar.

    Did I learn anything?

I need to build a higher-order categorization, which will require more research. In the end, the plan for the future is to search for where I can learn more about affirmation categorization to quickly locate potential candidates to use in situations that will benefit me.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

I struggled with lack of sleep which caused me to make mistakes and not think things through. Then my health bill and walking for 30 mins after my feet had blisters on my way back from the hike. Furthermore, speaking to a friend about our meetup took a lot of work. I didn’t give him a direct message. Instead, I worked up to it because I felt I couldn’t be around him. Later on, I learned something was wrong with my Keto. I was eating too many carbs. I was spending too much time walking after poor planning on a hike.

Next time I’ll overcome it by:

    • I will go to bed around 9:30 pm.
    • I will push on and keep going during long hikes or start from a different location while hiking if I know time is tight.
    • How can I use Intuition to figure out what my body is saying and adjust?
    • Speaking to somebody directly, I need to ask them if they are okay hearing the direct vs. not. It would be better for me to see which friends are worth being around.

So above are some potential projects for the future. Also, special thanks to John Mavrick vaults on Gumroad, grateful for its ability to organize content. That’s the update. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.

  • 💝 Meaningful Connection Week 44

    💝 Meaningful Connection Week 44

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations from my week/month.

    👓 What’s New?

I am trying a new way to blog, experimenting with weekly and monthly blogging. As I do these experiments, I’m checking what makes time-wise to write the posts.
It’s an experiment, an open garage door similar to Andy Matuschak, which can contain broken links to be filled later.

Well, through reflection via my morning pages, I discovered I have a habit of eating too many carbs, I don’t end up gaining weight or anything, but I get too tired. I noticed that I used it as an excuse to blame for my mistakes. So I started fasting and did so for a whole week. I looked at Keto, but the dirty version. I started skipping my dinner and using the 6-18 intermittent fasting ratio. To my surprise, my life was filled with much energy. I’m a skinny guy, so I lost 5 pounds by the end of the week.
During the early part of the week, before the fast, I grew tired of not doing anything about the position of my standing desk. So I decide to move it to a better corner. I’m still determining if I will provide a picture, but I have an L-shaped desk which I love, and my standing desk extension fits snugly into the corner. I love it so much, and the accomplishment of cleaning up the wires alone was a fantastic feeling.
Later that week, as you might know, I’m a computer programmer who discovered PayPal Accessibility Plugin. I haven’t written anything about it yet, but I love it. I tested it out on stack blitz. It allows me to add a drop-down that finds all the landmarks on the page and puts them in a single menu location.
While at work, I managed to fix my harmonica too. That week I noticed that the third or fourth hole got stuck and made the sound come out flat. I’m proud of myself for opening it up and using compressed air to clean it. I was then amazed that it worked ideally well after that.
During the workout, I was proud of myself for assisting my coworkers with Angular questions, and I’m so grateful that I can dig in and understand things at a high to a low level. For example, my coworker needed to know how to troubleshoot child-to-parent parameters and see that the values were coming from the database. I was able to see that far. So happy that I can see these things.
Side thought, Not a significant accomplishment, but I saved myself some time with my coworkers, cos they were buying a lotto for work, I usually believe, on Wed. Still, I kept some time because they bought a bigger pot, so I asked them to include my numbers, which saved me a trip to the lotto store.
While lotto doesn’t make me fit, so does workspace. So I moved my workouts from google collections and created a brand, My Body. Then, with a click of a button, I can launch my “workout” workspace and get myself into shape right before I get set up for work.
Not as big as my workouts, but during my commute to work, I set some time to process my notes in my Zettelkasten Vault. It’s hard to do it at work and home cos of chores during the week. So commute jobs perfectly. Which then lead me to create the My Quick Capture Workbench. I use it to establish my priories from different volume types to value.
Once the weekend approached, I wanted to do a hike badly. I chose the worst day to travel. The Q train had track work, and I spent the day on the bus, the so-called express train. Finally, making it to Fort Tryon, known as the monk cloisters. Such a beautiful place; I took many pictures. Go ahead and search it up, in New York is deferentially a place to visit if you still need to go. It’s a magical place on top of a mountain in the concrete jungle. On my way home, I drew a fantastic picture of the Hudson River and the coast of Manhattan side.
Then on finally Sunday, I spend the day cooking and adjusting the Vault with John Mavrick. He and I created additional hover cards on the monthly and weekly views. Later on, we added them to other dailies.

    🔔 What is resonating?

Earlier I watched Tiago Forte on YouTube video, Beginners Guide The First 30 Days Using a Notes App Pick Your Notes App Part 4. I love the idea of taking note of what is resonating and not processing it right away was an eye-opener. I no longer need to stress and reactively do things.

The great thing about My Inputs Workflow is that I can find peace and fulfillment in my work. The workflow allows me to organize my work into buckets, which I can later come back to process or pull information to create meaningful content, which I can reference later and build more ideas. For example, I had to sort my content by book or videos to implement a better input workflow. Then set a priority to revisit those categories—the input. John Mavrick’s findings heavily inspired the workflow.

Later on, I looked around and was interested in  Finding Meaningful Connections. So, I watched many videos of My Note Taking and discovered the Zettelkasten method. The method makes beneficial connections using each note as a concept or atomic idea and making it easy to relate to other notes. Therefore, I created a note of all the prompts to connect my thoughts in my Obsidian Vault.

I had a few other interests,  CoDA The Making Choices booklet My Thoughts v4 and CoDA Steps. In particular, I love the idea of holding my thoughts in my mind and spending some time not reacting to outside stimuli. Then I remember my steps as I journal my experience, strength, and hope.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

At the beginning of my  CoDA Twelve Promises One journey, I thought about linking to each promise individually, and now I’m connecting outputs like thoughts from a single general input.

While My CoDA is vital, Kala’s Therapist suggested I try Grounding Meditation in the evening and fine-tune what I do. But she mentioned it might be a good idea to record the sessions so it will be OK with the mindful practice.

Meanwhile, for vault maintenance, I discovered Image Cloud Hosting to Obsidian. It’s cool because I can link my images and have them show up without taking up any space.

Earlier I had mentioned that I love to start My Workflows journey, so I began to Organize and Process the Quick Capture Log. It’s a note with principles on consuming ideas. I prioritized various inputs, where order matters, task, read it later, then projects. I like this order because it allows me to review my deadlines and quickly save my ideas.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

During the week, I only partially listened to my body’s hunger. I stayed an hour longer while fasting. I had stomach pain in the morning. Then I noticed my desire to wake up earlier to write my morning pages.

I found an exciting hiking group, but they charge 80$. The group leave from Manhattan with transportation included on Nov 20 Sun. If I were to go, I would need to cook on Friday.

Take off during the week to cook, hiking. I can take time off to cook on Friday and go hiking on a different day. I can look and cook that day. Then I can move on Saturday or Sunday.

Then another hiking group Kew Gardens, But it’s a short hike. I could do that type of hike on my own.

I keep finding other exciting hiking groups but not the days I want to go. Someone else might want to check it out.

While looking for cooking hacks, somehow I had relearned that I could freeze my meat, forgot that I could do that.

On Friday night, a few friends decided to visit the Forbidden planet. It has been a while since I’ve gone to a place like that. Unfortunately, I felt pressure to quit my existing relationship during the event, which gave me unneeded stress.

My gratitude list is repeated every day and feels too similar. Should it be that way? If a “fleeting note” is here to be searched. I dont know. Today is a big day. I want to blog with my weekly journal using my blog writing. So today, the weekends. Also, the month is ending. So I need to make a double effort. Let’s see.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

I will write the stream of consciousness more freely because I want them closer to self-reflection. More so, my obstacles.

A few noticed eating outside of my regular time or not eating well.
During the week, I needed to learn how to create a type file for a JavaScript file.
Also, I noticed that I ate too many sweets in the morning. I could have stretched them out till the weekend.
I needed help to identify the subject’s behavior as a programmer. Angular is hard.
Pressure from a friend getting in my way of Relationships with Jewels. As a result, I spoke to Jewels about my desire to clarify our relationship.
I have yet to put too many limits on spending too long on the Vault. As for writing, it is more so during the commute.
I need to stop now, so I clean and go to bed.
I did so many things that my tasks started getting in the way of my well being ;)

My brother had shown me a browser called Brave and told me all I had to do was use it like any other internet browser, and it automatically earns BAT passive income. Once I earned 2 BAT, I can choose to verify the wallet and cash out or keep making more. At the end of the post, I will show you how you can earn interest on your wallet and get 10$.

I love the topic, and I might consider making this into a series and a cornerstone for passive income.

Going back to Brave, below is a description of how BAT works. Feel free to skip over to see how I earn more BAT passive income from this strategy.

BAT, or the Basic Attention Token, is a cryptocurrency that aims to solve a particular and well-known problem. The advertising industry is plagued by several issues, including but not limited to advertiser fraud, user abuse, an abundance of trackers causing slow load times, and a bloated user experience.

    Basic Attention Token

I removed my other browsers and switched to Brave. Another option is to have Brave as my default browser if you want to hold on to your other apps.

Then, I started browsing around like normal. Throughout the day, I would get a notification based on my interests. I would click on it or swipe it away while earning some BAT. The great thing about Brave Ads is that I can control the location and the amount. Depending on your interests, you can adjust it to your needs.

For the moment, I have it set for ten days for California. Why California? The ads are great, and they focus on cryptocurrency. It’s fantastic because it feels fluid, uses and pays in BAT passive income. Also, I love that it allows me to contribute to websites automatically.

Hey there, I hope you enjoyed the IP Royal passive income post. I found another way for us to benefit without you doing much work. Before I get into the Fundrise passive income strategy, at the end of the post, I will give you a way to earn $50 with Fundrise.

I set up a Fundrise account to accumulate interest over time. I have invested about $6,000 over four years, and it has steadily grown to about $9,000. The trick is to compound the interest and choose an investment plan of supplemental.

Besides my outstanding performance from the charts above, the company splits projects into four categories to lower the risk of losing money. So, for example, you will know it has a fixed income, core, value, and opportunistic buckets for property types where fixed income brings the most money. The other is that real estate is a safe bet compared to the technology sector.

Looking at the passive income program, you will notice that each project and its location is assigned a bucket. Which clearly states the risk and investment size. For the moment, Fundrise has acquired 130 projects, and in my portfolio, I set up my strategy to focus on a fixed income because I prefer the safer bet. Throughout the year, every quarter, with my investment size, I collect around $70. Then I automatically reinvest my dividends. I remind myself that it is a long-term safe investment approach, so I don’t have to watch it so closely.

Another bonus, throughout the year, they might announce IPO matching. In my case, I got $2,000 of company shares. Altogether, the IPO leads us into a passive income strategy, as you will soon see.

So, where am I going with all of this?

Throughout the year, Fundrise has different programs to bring new members on board. Passive Income – How I make money on the side 💸

“Make passive money online by sharing your internet.”

In short, I looked for a way to help myself earn some passive income and later learned that giving nothing in return helps nobody. Then, I found this company and decided to try it out and see if I could win over an Amazon gift card. Initially, it felt like a sham, but I was a happy owner of a 5$ Amazon gift card, to my surprise. I used my profits to buy a set of Brita filters.

IP Royal pairs with an unlimited internet data plan. How does it work? I went over to their website and copied information to this posting.

The headline readsMake Money Online 💰

“IPRoyal enables you to make money instantly. All you need to do to start generating income is to create a free account and install our app.”
