Faint: A New Character is Born πŸ˜‡

Faint is today’s inspiration for the featured artwork. I used it as a noun and interrupted it as weak and dizzy; close to losing consciousness. Also, if you wanted to know, a noun is the part of speech that names a person, place, thing, or idea.

Let me introduce Mike to you! He is brave, adventurous and never backs down from a challenge. Be that as it may, he is lying unconscious from some sort of wild occurrence. Unlike many others, he is active and tries to keep his weight down. With this in mind, we can only guess what had happened and stay tuned for the next blog post to find out more!? πŸ€Έ

In the light of this story, I’ve shown you a bit of his personality. By the same token, if you want to create a character, then make a simple list. With this intention, list good and bad qualities. Panacea The Story

    Panacea is today’s art challenge.

I’ve created these stories based on my experience with them. Such as, Proxy: What Destruction Can be Caused By War? Googling fun, interesting and cartoon images. To show, Neighbors: How to Draw them & Improve Your Focus? Yet, a coworker of mine and I discussed a way to speed up the creative juices to make interesting stories for you. We know that the prompt is unknown. Yet, what if we can create a character who will be part of that experience. For example, we know that the prompt is a noun or adjective or both. Thus, I can decide the story and draw up a character emulating the prompt.

No Such thing As Brain Juice

As a matter fact, I was thinking about writing poems or finding a poem for that prompt. Then again, it’s not interesting to me. Not to mention, I wanted to quit today or when I wrote What Kept Me From Quitting Ghoulish Challenge? Be that as it may, I prefer to create a character and simulate them with the prompt. As a matter of fact, imagine we asked what are the side effects of panacea on the brain? Thus, we can answer, sleepiness, an antidote to poison or a superpower! Also, that amazing heading in bold, I created it as a result of panacea. In Contrast, panacea defined as a solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases. Even so, Let’s test this challenge tomorrow.

Dragon Egg: How to be Inspired?

    Dragon Egg

First of All, I received the egg challenge. I thought about dragons and what that they can hatch eggs. Thus, I went and looked up the definition of an Egg. It’s defined as an oval or round object laid by a female bird, reptile, fish, or invertebrate. The eggs of birds closed in a chalky egg-shall, while those of reptiles are in a leathery membrane. Besides, I’ve drawn dragons before, when I wrote about How to Draw a Dragon: 6 steps?

    The Scene

In spite of dragon and egg objects, I started getting lost in what I was trying to carry out. Earlier, I had some ideas of drawing a lavish scene with gold, large eggs and dragons. Yet, to simplify my goal, I needed to come up with a story. Then, I thought about family, how much the dragon wants to protect the egg from harm. Also, I wrote an article to show how to list out ideas – What’s Fluffy While You Take The Train? Finally, I started setting time goals because I could have spent the day sketching away.

At the same time, if your curious how I created this scene check out Proxy: What Destruction Can be Caused by War? It has some tips on how to set up an environment before you start drawing. Also, when you lose focus, I recommend that you try to think about why you started the challenge. Not to mention, I had a similar issue when I wrote Neighbors: How to Draw them & Improve Your Focus?

    Proxy War
    Proxy War

Today was a pretty solid day, a slight chill, but sunny enough to keep you warm. More importantly, today’s prompt isΒ Proxy; I defined it asΒ the authority to represent someone else, especially in voting or a person authorized to act for another. Besides, if you add another word to next to proxy, it becomes a proxy war. Then, it becomesΒ a war instigated by a dominant power that does not itself become involved. Therefore, I present to you a featured image using black and white flow study on the destruction of war using machines to fight for another country. I did it on earlier sketches like theΒ Neighbors: How to Draw Them & Improve Your Focus?Β And theΒ Simmer: How to Show Flow & Promote Scene Passion?

    More about the sceneΒ πŸ”₯

Equally important, I tried to use the size to move objects further into the background or promote them in the foreground.Β Coupled with the solid black on the left, I wanted to keep your focus on the right-hand side. Also, do you know if the focal point is clear? As you can see, the destroyed centerΒ by machines which only have a single programmed thought.

The idea of proxy war came to mind when I went over to Pinterest and searched for the word proxy. I found an image called transmute artifact from the game of magic. I used some parts of that the object as inspiration to create the flying robots in the air. Not to mention, I almost quit because proxy didn’t have too many things I wanted to draw, but I kept my focus strong and figured a way out. I had written about a similar feat onΒ What Kept Me From Quitting Ghoulish Challenge?

Neighbors Draw Them & Improve Your Focus?

Today’s drawing challenge came from the word neighbors. Also defined as a person living near or next door to the speaker or person referred to. Yesterday, I had a thought, I wanted to learn more about character design, while browsing, an inspiring article popped up, HOW TO DRAW FEMALE FACES BY LOISH. To start, first create a circle, then draw a curvy cross and finally draw in the eye, nose, ears and mouth.

Furthermore, I wanted to continue using flow and layering of gray shades. I started these ideas in these two posts Simmer: How to Show Flow & Promote Scene Passion? and Mystery: How to Create Flow & Improve Scene Interest? In addition, I learned that if I use a black color, middle black of 50% with multiply on the layer and 20% dark gray, I can get interesting results when combined with a top layer. Also, the top layer is used together with the eye dropper tool to sample the gray’s on the other layers to create basic shapes in the foreground and background.

I’m curious to know or your curious to know β‰οΈ

I’m a bit saddened by the fact I couldn’t draw to my full potential today. Yesterday, my Nexus 6P experienced a boot loop, then magically started working. This morning, my digital pen battery ran out, so I had to draw on my android phone. What do you do when stuff isn’t going your way? Do you push through or take a day off?

As a matter of fact, I just pushed through the day, I knew what goal I needed to focus on and I just worked through the issues. I knew I needed to focus on neighbors, so I went on google image search to get quickly inspired and started drawing. A few days ago, I had a similar issue in the post What Kept Me From Quitting Ghoulish Challenge?

Simmer: How to Show Flow & Promote Scene Passion?

Simmer: Show Flow & Promote Scene Passion😍

Today I woke up and quickly looked up the new word, Simmer. It’s defined as to keep (liquid) in a state approaching boiling. This gave me an idea, yesterday I worked on a post Mystery: How to Create Flow & Improve Scene Interest? This post was about creating a similar scene using three shades of gray. However, a few days ago, I wrote a post, which had a featured image that didn’t really tell much of a story. In the same fashion, I think the best way to come up with ideas is to make a list, similar to What’s Fluffy While You Take The Train? As a matter of fact, the scene I created today, used a similar technique and really pulled out the emotion of something brought to a boil.

In addition, the featured image and the image below show flow by promoting the importance of the scene. It does this by utilizing the mid-sized items with more contrast, automatically pointing towards the larger faded out simmer. Coupled with, the little swirls and twists to show singular direction. Let me know in the comments below if you think I did a good job? Is there anything I can improve or remove?

I’m curious to know or your curious to know β‰οΈ

In Addition, the other day I was testing a new idea of recording a short time-lapse of me drawing these during my commute. As a matter of fact, I will be giving these away freely for your benefit. Should the video be short or long? Furthermore, if your curious to know how to create titles for your posts or even naming, you can read How to Make Tagline That You’ll Love?

    A “mystery” is

Last few days I watch artist Trent Keniuga. I was watching his YouTube video of Secrets of Thumbnail Drawing. From watching this video, the technique that grabbed my attention was how quickly he created the landscapes using a few shades of gray. I believe he used ranges between 20% – 80%. After selecting at least three, you can create a believable landscape. The mystery to me was creating the flow and placing objects in such a way where they can make for a pleasant story. Therefore, today on the train I set forth on this journey. My goal was to create a mystery or something. I went on google image search and tried to find something worthy, but I didn’t see much. Working with what I had already started with and limited time, I created the featured image. During the lunch hour, I opened up Photoshop and Google Snapseed to finish off processing the photos. Please let me know in the comments below if you like my mystery and if you have any tips or tricks to come up with ideas for a scene quickly?

The next day I’m planning on practicing the environment study further. It will probably be on Simmer: How to Show Flow & Promote Scene Passion?

    I’m curious to know… What a mystery β‰

I was quickly able to convert my featured image from TIFF to PNG, but I failed to save the Clip Studio image I created. I would like to know how to import a Clip Studio file into Photoshop? When I get home, I’ll post the other picture here, stay tuned!   πŸ˜

What Kept Me From Quitting Ghoulish Challenge?

Ghoulish & Giving up is easy πŸ˜

Ghoulish Hollowness! This was a challenge from WordPress to create a post based on a word.

    Now to the story πŸ’€

When I woke up, I realized that I signed myself up for a daily challenge, to draw for this Ghoulish prompt and for the new prompts. Yesterday’s prompt was Fluffy. Creating fluffy was challenging because I didn’t know what to expect. My hope is that we can improve our flow and gesture in the new prompts ahead!? Also, I hope to inspire other artists to do so as well. Therefore, I looked up the definition of Ghoulish or strangely diabolical or cruel, to see what images come to my mind, but nothing came to mind. I knew about drawing dragons, but it wouldn’t be enough. Then I found myself on the train starting to draw a dragon and listening to episode 6 of the Smart Passive Income podcast. His voice was encouraging, he mentioned the hardest part of any project is starting. At that point I decided to do a simple google image search and draw whatever seemed interesting to me. Of course I googled today’s word! From the word search, to the drawing, I knew I had limited time because my train was nearing its destination. Therefore, I kept my detail low and focused mainly on the shapes of each silhouette. When I got to work, I used most of my lunch time to finish off the pre processing of the images, like adding my signature, old paper look and those nice frames.

Feel free to post your creations in the comments below. Also, my grammar and English isn’t that good either, if you see something odd, please let me know!? If you like what you see, please like, re-blog and follow for more inspiration! Β―Β―_(ツ)_/Β―
