    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M06

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share June resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully in 6 mins. I will try to answer the following questions; let me know how I do. Meanwhile, I left you some bonus thought-provoking questions.

    • What is the significance of Vipassana meditation?
    • How does the graph view in Obsidian help with the author’s publishing workflow?

    Meaningful
    Connection

    👓 What’s New?

So what’s up? I started searching in my vault for fresh ideas from the last month, and on my graph view, I had a double connection from 💭 Vipassana at Burmese Meditation Center 10 Day 2023-6-29. Similarly, I wanted to speak to my therapist about feeling good when in the flow state. In particular, I discovered that I feel stronger and more confident when I experience progress. For example, during my stay at the Burmese temple, I didn’t understand the words or the language, but I made myself worthwhile by practicing the 💭 Mahasi Vipassana meditation.

In the past, I would allow visions of negativity to control my mind. In the present, I’m doing my best to notice the impermanence of thoughts and practice being free and awake during the suffering. Buddhism doesn’t have a place for Godly worship. Similarly, I believe my ⛰️ Higher Power is inside.

    In their belief, believing in a God is based on fear. For example, I am going to hell if I don’t do XYZ. Similarly, I believe in a loving Higher Power, which is inside of me that guides me to a non-fearing authority figure. That is why I don’t need to follow a human God. I don’t want to do idols. My higher power is inside me. A robust and loving force to develop. I want to stay open;

Moving away from Buddhism momentarily, I sought new connections under reflections and tasks. I noticed that 💭 Im motivated to work when I do the things I love

. I remember feeling curious when it occurred to me. When I work, for me to do good work, I need to be fulfilled spiritually. Then I thought about it’s time to change jobs. Then the thought led me to learn when I switch between the carrot and stick, and work better. Finally, I noticed a task to speak to my therapist. I’m going to stop here with the reflections and move to resonators.

    🔔 What is Resonating?

During June, I chose something that I rated high and now is in my life. In such a case 📥 Keto Constipation DrBerg Explains Constipation on Keto Diet because gut biology is complicated, and it is easy to make a mess of things. 👤 Dr. Berg left a few tips for me to find healing. He suggested reducing cruciferous vegetables, fat, nuts and seeds, and dairy with high lactose and casein. While lowering, I need to see how my body reacts and mindfully increase each area to improve my mineral absorption. During the video, he suggested using cabbage and spinach instead of kale because it’s easier for the body to process.

Meanwhile, I can combine kimchi and kifer so that my gut breaks down the veggies. Also, Dr. Berg’s book New Body Type Guide recommended I increase my stomach acid to prevent the bacteria from growing in the small intestine and prepare the veggies for further processing in the colon. Also, if bile is less because the gallbladder or liver has a problem, it’s best practice to notice that issue. Then adjust my diet to prepare the body, such as adding fennel seeds, eating less dark leafy greens, and walking or standing after a meal.

More so, I found a few similar articles related to constipation. I tried to eat more fat at some point, but my liver could not keep up with the load. Then, I found an article What to Eat to Produce More Bile in the Liver, which suggests eating more celery and radish. Also, I love adding chia seeds to my kifer and noting that chia is a fiber, too, so it is good to eat it in moderation. To prepare your own, check out How to Soak Chia Seeds – The Ultimate Guide. Finally, I remember making my kimchi too spicy, which might have increased my constipation. To learn more about spicy foods, see the article Understanding the Effects of Spicy Food on the Body. Alright, let’s move on to what’s growing.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For June, I will choose a sprouting thought that needs to be elaborated upon further. Of such interest is 💭 using the open graph view in Obsidian to find topics to discuss during my monthly connection. I remember feeling inspired because, in context, I needed a way to find relevant information and stronger relationships. Also, I asked the question, is there a way to query which files had incoming links in the last month? I want to see what my mind has been curious about in the month. For example, I can find thoughts using the following query in the graph view tag:(#thought/reflections) -file:(Feeling) line:(Created: 2023-06). The experience leads me to learn that graph view is powerful in guiding my publishing workflow, and I plan to continue to use it to inform my blog post. Alright, let’s move on to mental nourishment.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Throughout June, I had many thoughts coming and going, and I was able to capture the reflections, musings, and memories. Of such interest is 💭 Love goes through the fourth dimension of time. I have the ‘reflection’ linked to my mind area because I’m trying to be mindful of Love. I remember feeling curious, happy and inspired. These feelings came because Love goes through the fourth dimension of time. I was watching Interstellar and got some inspiration. Then, many thoughts came and went as I explored the topic. Here are several examples, first about transferring between spaces at the speed of gravity. Then Love is attraction, as so is gravity. Loving somebody is the energy that can make an instant transmission, like in Dragon Ball Z, where Goku can teleport or move between time and space. Love is the fourth dimension that glues gravity and transcendence between ‘dimensions.’

Last but not least, I was left with a question, what is it like moving to the fifth dimension? These points taught me that shows inspire me to write about human emotion. Finally, I need to keep an eye out for nuggets of gold.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

While writing June’s meaningful connection, I noticed I wasn’t as hungry. I got 💭 Worried Feeling and started doing the walking meditation using the Mahasi Vipassana to gain insight. I remember Dr. Berg saying not to eat unless the body tells me it’s hungry. Yesterday my eating routine got changed a bit in the evening. I wasn’t hungry till 6 pm. I usually eat around 3 pm. My guess was it had something to do with overeating bread. The following day, as insights came, I decided to drink warm water with fennel, lemon, and ginger. I’m hoping that will get my system running smoothly and on schedule.

During my second day of writing meaningful connections after my walk, I installed Pokemon Go and removed it. Man, it’s so addictive. I need to be careful because an hour can go by so fast, and I’m not doing what I need to do to finish writing the post. Luckily I know how to meditate, and insight saved me again. I hope I don’t install the app.

In other news, I want to add a sidebar with a few boxes while visitors read. They might see some of the callouts. I was planning on adding the coaching for nutrition and donation boxes. The donation area is attractive because I draw a line for each donating person. Also, I write out the initials to give them credit. I am still deciding if I will do it, cos I like the space for reading. The menu on the top allows visitors to do those tasks.

Well, that’s it for June; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.

    🎁 Bonus thought-provoking questions

I’m leaving you with some thought-provoking questions. Feel free to answer to your benefit.

    1. What are the benefits of having meaningful connections in our personal and professional lives?

    2. How can technology facilitate more meaningful connections between people?

    3. What role does vulnerability play in building meaningful connections with others?

    4. What common barriers prevent people from forming meaningful connections, and how can they be overcome?

    5. How can we cultivate more empathy and compassion in our interactions with others, leading to more meaningful connections?

    💝 Meaningful Connection 2023-M03

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share March resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations.

    Meaningful Connection

    👓 What’s New?

A significant departure from my notes, I decided to pause on the reviews and focus my energy on what’s resonating, feelings, and thoughts. I want to continue refining my discoveries to build meaningful connections with the content I consume. I made the subconscious choice because I needed to do something more vital with the content. Moreso, it took a lot of copy-pasting and tweaking queries throughout the week to get my monthly review together. After that, I plan to revisit the thoughts and morning pages. In addition, I’m practicing the CE 5 Protocol and Healing Code, which calms my soul and provides growth.

In other news, I added a new menu on my blog to represent you. I will draw a line and your initials when you donate at any time. The more times you donate, the thinker the line will get. First and last initial near the bar.

    🔔 What is resonating?

I listened to Mary and Ken talk in CoDA UK for steps 8 and 9 (https://codauk.org/ken-and-mary-2019/). I remember being avoidant with my family and letting my authority figure of fear control me. Then the discovery about my childhood interaction with others left me wondering: What do amends look like for me? Because for the longest time, I had blamed the outside world for my feelings. It has left me seeking balance and wisdom. I will find balance through continuously journaling and reflecting on the areas of my interest. In particular, it’s good for me to monitor my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Forgetting to pray and pause is a common theme in my life. I quickly get excited about cooking. When I cook and try to improve my health, I spend copious hours understanding and implementing ideas. Where is the pause button? Mary and Ken discuss the concept of chasing for an answer. Am I in a place to hear the truth? For much of my life, I shut those thoughts off subconsciously and feared the reality of the situation. In CoDA, its a progress and not perfection. I found a small silver lining, praying and hanging signs to remind me to pause. It’s okay not to know myself at the very moment and to be lost. For now, I will find myself soon. It is remembering that I cannot always let fear be my authority figure.

Fear is a figure that blows through my boundaries, not a loving Higher Power who wants the best for me. I could skip filling my plate with complete nutrition or leave a few dishes in the sink. Overall, the problem I aim to solve is moving from a position of weakness to a more balanced lifestyle. Meanwhile, I know I cannot control and blame others but improve myself.

    🌻 What’s Growing?

For the month, I will choose something that is sprouting and needs to be elaborated upon further. The most exciting thing to guide the mind will be questions that require complex answers. Questions have many answers too. Some time ago, I started collecting my top 12 favorite problems to find solutions. It will guide me to search for information instead of mindlessly highlighting everything I see on the interwebs. Feynman coined the idea to chip away at challenging issues in life.

The plan is to continue questioning the content I consume and testing it against the question. The problems that come from life very well reflect my core values. For example, if I want to expand my ability to show kindness to others, I must ask the following question. How can I find balance while having the desire to grow? Which lead me to CoDA step 4 and 5. I must keep an inventory of my actions toward others and promptly admit when I’m wrong so I can reflect and grow as a human being to society.

    🥑 Mental Nourishment

Throughout March, I had many thoughts that differed from my objective notes. However, most of the time, the feeling is inspired. I plan to find a better way to resurface those feelings in my notes, but I’m going based on what I can dig out by modified time.

Speaking to my friend about dating, he made a connection to resumes. The profile is like a highlight of the best version of myself. After I meet the person, I can further elaborate on my vulnerability, weakness, and plans for the future. He mentioned that it is essential to maintain my anonymity for purposes of equality. Until I know them and they are “safe” to share with, I might want to keep parts of me hidden.

For example, perhaps it wouldn’t be a good idea to share my past trauma. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m proud of my journey personally, but I’ve noticed certain words trigger a misunderstanding (like codependent), so I leave them out. Further into the future, my grandmother told me that couples rub off each other over a while and learn what love entails. In other words, I can understand love when I sense the inner suffering of my better half.

I plan to validate my life with what I love to do to attract the correct type of energy.

    🚿 Stream of Consciousness

As March passed, I started doing fewer daily, weekly, and monthly reviews. My therapist suggests I focus my energy only on gratitude and feeling my feelings. I decided to change because I felt overwhelmed with my desire to cook in the keto lifestyle. Since my weekends include art, shopping, and cooking, I want to involve myself spiritually and take more vacations during the week, so my life goes smoother.

Particular What is the Truth About Blogging?

    A Particular Truth 😇

Today, in Particular, I realized that I need to stop or change the way I produce my stories. In like manner, I will not force myself to post stories at the cost of my sleep, energy and daily activities. Also, after listening to my fellow bloggers, I came to a new understanding, and I will try to put in place. I apologize to anybody who was expecting a story today! Don’t worry I’m not giving up and I have a plan.
