How to Make Herbal Tea π΅
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, we’re makingΒ tea. All right, let’s do this. So firstΒ thing, let’s add someΒ pepper, a pinch. Now we add theΒ salt. We don’t know how it’s going toΒ taste, but know it’s going to be good noΒ matter what. So, the reason why we’reΒ adding pepperΒ andΒ turmeric is because it’s a commonΒ disinfectant. We just add a little bit,Β and it should mix well with the stuff. So,Β it’ll be going into theΒ water. Then we add some anise, not theΒ whole thing, cause you want to break offΒ the littleΒ seeds, cause it’s too strong. Otherwise, IΒ think two should be enough. I’ll find outΒ after I drink it how great this thing is.
And then, what I like to do is add notΒ peppermints but actually fennel seeds toΒ improve stomach digestion. Just need aΒ littleΒ bit. Um, what else do IΒ do? I think that’s it. Let me just checkΒ what’s up here. Oh, I like to add someΒ cinnamon. Actually, I have a very specialΒ treat for you: it’s organic VietnameseΒ Cinnamon, let me just put a little bit inΒ there.
Okay, and you don’t want your tea toΒ be flat, so what you do is you add someΒ organic sugars, and I happen to have aΒ well-priced monk fruitΒ sweetener. So, let’sΒ see, don’t be too kind with it, justΒ pour most of its in.Β Just kidding, just a littleΒ bit. Okay, nice and sweet, so this way yourΒ drink is ready forΒ healing. All right, and then you have aΒ boiled tea kettle ready toΒ go. Then we pourΒ it into the cup.
And then you take one of your refrigeratedΒ lemons, and you plop one in and hope forΒ the best. Oh, you can actually squeeze itΒ into your cup! Woh watch for theΒ splash back, and then you take your spoon,Β and you give it aΒ stir. Of course, you get to do a poisonΒ test, so let’sΒ see.
Let me know what you think of the Herbal Tea. ππ
I’m shopping for a new microphone, a Neumann, and hoping to pair it with an audio interface. Curious, I asked the YouTube audio interface experts the following questions.
What is the best Audio Interface for a Neumann Microphone?
To discover the answer to the question above, I asked the experts on YouTube the following questions.
What is a good audio interface for that microphone 107 or 103 on Windows?
@nickiden I think there’s a lot of really good options. had a motu 828 in the past and really liked it. If you are looking for something 2 channel UA volt or the ssl 2+ worked great.
@hayden.exclusive you can’t go wrong with a Scarlet interface. It is very reliable and also has air button for vocals; Apollo (processing power isn’t good software) can be good, but only if you’re making a lot of money to spend so much on an interface, use the Scarlett; love it.
@Patrick Breen I have not owned that audio interface, however I’ve heard nothing but positive things. Most of the well known interfaces on the market will do a fine job with this mic (UAD, Apogee, RME, Antelope are the brands I like.) What I’d focus on is getting a really good preamp to pair with this mic. This mic is definitely designed to sound great when plugged directly into an interface, but a preamp will help you get even more out of the mic. The WA73-EQ is probably my favorite budget preamp. Hope that helps!
@PatrickBreenMusic i was planning on buying the Motu MK5, but i ended up buying the Audient Evo 16, I think most sound car nowadays has really good components and translate well enough your analog signal, you should purchase the one that fits your input and output needs as well as features.
@ZPJ_Studio I have not owned the MOTI MK5. However, I recommend the USB-UAD apollo twin (used is fine), and get the LA-6176 Signature Channel Strip for US $39. Later you can get other channel strips and even get an outboard channel strip as well, if money alllows.
@blakeg703 Hey there! I haven’t owned a Windows machine in a LONG time, wish I could help more. A great interface I used to have, that was affordable, and should work equally on Mac or Windows, is the Komplete Audio 1 by Native Instruments. It’s like $100 bucks, clean pre amp, works fine. I’ve also heard great things about Scarlet interfaces for the price! I hope that helps.
@ZPJ Studio 2d ago (edited) Typically, I set the gain on the Audio Interface at zero, and then adjust the mic preamp gain to a setting that doesn’t peak the indicator light on the interface, during singing or speaking. It often depends on how far you are from the mic and how loud you are singing or talking, so there are several factors at play here. Essentially, keep an eye on the peak indicator light so that it doesn’t enter the red zone. Yellow/Orange is OK. Red means the signal is overloaded and the audio file will clip, so ease back on the gain or trim settings of your mic preamp till you get that optimal setting.
Hopefully, these responses to the questions above were helpful to you in selecting an audio interface for the following devices below π. If you found something interesting, feel free to leave a comment, like, and subscribe for more content like the above. β¨π
Have you ever dreaded writing the same boilerplate repository code repeatedly? You’re not alone; I will share my implementation of the Code First Generic Repository Pattern in C#. I will only include some of the code because it will make the post incredibly long. At the end of the post, I will share a Goal donation to post a Git download link so you can take it for a spin. As a bonus, the repository uses Code First and Unit of Work.
Generic Repository Pattern in C#
Let’s begin with the Entity interface. The IEntity interface is a typical pattern used in software development to define a contract for entities, typically in the context of data access and persistence. It usually includes a property for the entity’s unique identifier. The Generic Type: The IEntity interface uses a generic type parameter TKey to allow flexibility in the type of the identifier (e.g., int, Guid, string). The ID property will identify each entity uniquely. Feel free to read more about the implementation at the entity framework core generic repository and Structured Query IEntity.
public interface IEntity<TKey>
{
TKey Id { get; set; }
}
You might find the following definition of the generic repository pattern on the interwebs.
The Generic Repository pattern in C# is a design pattern that abstracts the application’s data layer, making it easier to manage data access logic across different data sources. It aims to reduce redundancy by implementing typical data operations in a single, generic repository rather than having separate repositories for each entity type.
The interface header has two generic types. TEntity is the domain class, and the TKey isthe ID type, int, or string. Note that IEntity abstracts away the type TKey. It looks complex for the moment, but you will see benefits later.
Moving away from the Generic Repository, let’s focus on the pattern of the Unit of Work. According to Copilot:
The Unit of Work is a design pattern used in software development to manage and coordinate changes to a database. It ensures that all operations within a single business transaction are treated as a single unit, which means they either all succeed, or all fail together. This helps maintain data integrity and consistency.
public interface IUnitOfWork : IDisposable
{
IGenericRepository<TEntity, TKey> Repository<TEntity, TKey>() where TEntity : class, IEntity<TKey>;
void Save();
Task<int> SaveAsync();
}
The Unit of Work will allow us later to inject it as a service for any repository. If you inspect the interface closely, you will notice it has three fields. The most vital of the three is the Repository. The method returns a domain of type repository and key. You can specify the type when using it.
Moving on to the Code First portion, we must tell Entity Framework how to build our database. To do so, we can create a “BloggingContext”.
public class BloggingContext: DbContext
{
// Use design time factory
public BloggingContext(DbContextOptions<BloggingContext> dbContextOptions)
: base(dbContextOptions)
{
}
public DbSet<Blog> Blogs { get; set; }
public DbSet<Post> Posts { get; set; }
}
If you inspect the code closely, you will notice that we inherited from DbContext, which allows us to manipulate the database. The DbContext will also enable us to use DbSets and CRUD methods. You can read more about DbContext Class on the Microsoft website.
Before using your Database Context with Code, you must set up migrations. Migrations allow you to evolve your database as you code and change the schema. I recommend you read up on Migrations managing schemas because it has excellent examples to help you start quickly.
At the high level, in Visual Studio, open up the Tools menu, then the NuGet Package Manager menu, followed by the Console. In the Console, you must install the following package.
The Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Tools will allow you to make the following commands.
Add-Migration InitialCreate
Update-Database
Meanwhile, you might want to consider making a DesignTimeDbContextFactory because it aids in setting up the connection string for the database.
public class DesignTimeDbContextFactory : IDesignTimeDbContextFactory<BloggingContext>
{
public BloggingContext CreateDbContext(string[] args)
{
// Build configuration
IConfigurationRoot configuration = new ConfigurationBuilder()
.SetBasePath(Directory.GetCurrentDirectory())
.AddJsonFile("appsettings.Development.json")
.Build();
// Get connection string
var connectionString = configuration.GetConnectionString("DefaultConnection");
var optionsBuilder = new DbContextOptionsBuilder<BloggingContext>();
optionsBuilder.UseSqlServer(connectionString);
return new BloggingContext(optionsBuilder.Options);
}
}
I’m considering publishing the fully working example on Git with the following components.
Services
Domain
Interfaces
Repository
Console App with basic CRUD operations
Dependency Injection

In the dating world, there is a mindset of looking for things wrong in a person. Right off the bat, it is a negative way to build relationships. Read on to see how I will untangle the mess.
Sidebar V – What if I need help figuring out where to start?
If I had started a relationship, knowing the difference between an exclusive relationship and dating is essential until a match is found. From women’s health, I can gain some insight.
Some people believe they can invent steps in between to get out of the answer, such as unnamed boundaries and standards. Instead of simply saying, I’m fishing around or casual dating. To signal that I can also continue to do the same. Alas, I prefer upfront.
I think that is sexy.
From my experience, what I do is when they start talking about the topic and claim they work with one person at a time. I continue to probe. Then I watch closely and see if they prefer an exclusive relationship, then if they go back on it and bring up some general terms like boundaries and standards. I make a mental note of the first red flag.
Secondly, let’s examine a person who breaks a relationship over food.
If the conversation leads to cooking, I will mention that I love to cook. If the person asks about the dishes, I will share the images of my recipes.
SidebarΒ V2 – False Image
It is too much work to keep a false image of myself.
The best practice in finding a true lover is to use what I know.
Moving back to the conversation, I will say the following or try to convey the meaning.
My favorites include making Kimchi, Beef (organic grass-fed), Salmon (wild-caught), and orange peel ferments. I’m deeply concerned about taking care of my digestion. Of such caliber, I know that a healthy biome is vital for fiber digestion (hence the mention of kimchi and orange peel).Β More so, I prefer staying away from the regular American diet. Which, in my opinion, is not the healthiest choice.
After conveying the meaning, the partner in crime might not be aware of these topics and react negatively. If the person loves them, then it’s a win. Most of the time, diet is so personal it’s hard to find someone who understands my nature. Forcing the breakup, such as the person below. For example, look at my passion for cooking and see how this person responded to my excitement for what I consider healthy. However, skip past the images and sidebar to see the solution further.
Regarding the environment, I deeply care for it and meditate on eating protein and its effect on the planet. Eventually, if my body allows, I will switch back to plant-based. I am still figuring out how to maintain balance with fiber.
Third, the solution to maintaining a healthy relationship.
Diet comes and goes. I will change over time as my blood and cells change every cycle.Β
Life of impermanence. Life is to be open-minded.
The Lotus
Dating apps create a perfect example of how divided and segregated the world becomes.
Is that the type of society I want to live in?Β
I am making my stand and trying to be open-minded!
Why is the Bumble dating site supporting these behaviors and creating separation?
Wasn’t the racism stopped a while ago?
Why make food boundaries next?
How can I fight the injustice dating apps are creating?
Start a class action lawsuit.
Let’s get some new policies to protect me from the abuse.
I set a boundary with Bumble and posted a short review. See the following result.
I want Bumble to remove people who promote an environment of exclusion and create invisible barriers.
I suppose a class action is an order?
I am not on the QA team. I shouldn’t be enforcing these rules or reporting people. I’m here to date, not to be a worker, Bee!
I hope Bumble will remove people who support negativity, such as food shaming, and see the bigger picture.
Four – A lotus road to success
I prefer to live with a peaceful, non-reactive person who takes a moment to consider the bigger picture in the proper context. That isn’t always possible, but it can be over time. That is the reality I’m seekingβa partner who can come to know me and see that I, too, can be a lotus.
I leave you with some thought provoking questions;)
1. How can we create a more inclusive society that values and respects differences?
2. What is the role of technology in shaping our relationships and how can we use it to enhance our connections with others?
3. What does it mean to live a meaningful life and how can we find purpose and fulfillment in our daily lives?
4. What are some of the biggest challenges facing our world today and how can we work together to address them?
I have been dating around for a while now on good old Match, Bumble, Hinge, and Boo. Then, I realized I had created a library of greetings for the not-so-faint of heart. Not so far out, it had occurred to me that I could share these out, perhaps with passionate word-smith hands. The words would soothe a gentle soul.

Hey everyone, I have some exciting news to share regarding my Fundrise income earnings since my last update. I am thrilled to announce that I have experienced a significant growth of $1,000 since the last time I checked the reports. In comparison to my previous investment value of $8,700, this translates to an impressive annual growth rate of around 1%. I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made, and it’s an encouraging sign for the future. Keep up the great work Vye and I plan to continue to strive for even more success!
Fundrise Income Breakdown
Alright besides the excitement earlier, lets get to the numbers. According to the chart, I put in around $6,700 and made around $3,000. I started my journey around the year of 2019. Looking at the 4 year time period I made some passive income.
My goal is to keep going till the graph hits 10k because more tools are unlocked for potential earnings. Based on the volacity at which it increased in the last year or so, I think I’ll reach my target by mid next year. The best part is the members who contribute to the cause will also be rewarded.
Thoughout the year the company tries to get me to invest and buy shares of the private stock. However, Ive decided to not continue because I want to see how I can use my savings in other ventures. Moreso, the amount of growth potential isn’t appealing yet, I believe if more of a community effort is discovered then I will consider adding more.
Meanwhile, if you look below the Fundrise company has split my investment among the following groups. Real estate, private credit, other and venture. Private credit are composed of REITS or payouts from the company. While, so called “Other” is the iPO potential offset. Which is nice because it gives me a chance to earn a bit more in shares when others buy.
If you look at the last category, venture. I didn’t bother adding too much into that area because uncertainty and risk. I feel that the portfolio is safe and balanced with my limited knowledge of the company. Ever since I joined, it’s earning potential is steady with no issues.
Throughout the investment period, I was delighted to seize the chance to acquire company shares! It’s an incredible advantage exclusively available to those who join during the initial phase. Moreover, for our esteemed readers/bloggers, there’s an additional opportunity to earn even more rewards upon signing up. It’s truly an exciting journey to be a part of!
If your interested in earning $50 upon sign go ahead check out my initial blog post on Fundrise. It will help me get closer to my goal and privide you with some more capitial growth.
β¨ Auto Brain Suggestions

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share July resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully in 7 mins. I will try to answer the following questions: let me know how I do. Meanwhile, see if you can find the answer.
“What would a miraculous change in your own life look like overall?
“If we just smile to it, it will lose much of its strength. Mindfulness is the energy that allows us to recognize our habit energy and prevent it from dominating us.”
“How could you personally make a DISHONEST effort to working the Steps and Traditions?”
“What are your personal Barriers to Success in working the Twelve Steps and Traditions?
Watch me try to summarize the above paragraph; it’s hilarious!
π What’s New?
I focused on my CoDA studies during August, explicitly covering the 12 promises. Meanwhile, I sincerely wanted to start practicing my driving skills to avoid depending on others to get me to a location. While in Brooklyn, I could attend a block party and try to be social while not needing a car. Finally, misuse of senses.
π What is Resonating?
During August, I chose something that I rated a high rating of 4 Vye’s! While I had the bell ringing, I decided the π₯ A Study of the 12 Promises PRELUDE.
“PRELUDE: I can expect a miraculous change in my life by working the program of Co-Dependents Anonymous. As I make an honest effort to work the Twelve Steps and follow the Twelve Traditions.”
As I answered the three questions, I decided it would be helpful to share my answers.
“What would a miraculous change in your own life look like overall? Remember, the miraculous change that we are seeking is in ourselves, not others. Consider changes to your thoughts, emotions and actions.”
Change in my life free of seeking happiness from the outside objects/persons. Meditation has helped me pause and gain insight. Remembering to smile helps me disengage the negative thoughts. It’s from the book The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching.
“If we just smile to it, it will lose much of its strength. Mindfulness is the energy that allows us to recognize our habit energy and prevent it from dominating us.”
Similarly, in the book The Secret, I can position my thoughts for positive, attractive energy.
“How could you personally make a DISHONEST effort to working the Steps and Traditions?”
For me, the dishonest effort is not reviewing my faults and aligning them with the steps or traditions. Especially before sharing, I should write down exactly which pattern I need to prevent, especially when it hits on the topic of π Running into the Fire the Desire to Expand. Another way of thinking is asking what if I’m a workaholic and overworking/overthinking?
In Buddha’s teaching, the first Nobel Truth speaks on recognizing the suffering, in my case, the unmanageability. Then, seeing the energy moving all the time, I love working on the issues at the moment and learning from experience and, in other words, reflecting on a moving train and treating it like a game. Telling others what to do is different from the right path. It is best practice for me to have them ask. I’m not good at this truth yet, but I want to recognize the suffering and adjust.
“What are your personal Barriers to Success in working the Twelve Steps and Traditions? (time, space, other people, responsibilities, finances, housing, education, employment, transportation, other interests, etc.)”
For me, it’s not enjoying self-love, spending too much time being productive, worrying about nutrition, and not being good enough. Essentially, π Running into the Fire the Desire to Expand. Examples include not going to bed on time or setting up boundaries with me or others. Meanwhile, I forget my self-worth altogether.
While answering these questions, I started listing out some tools for recovery. I will continue to use The Healing Code while I pray/meditate to break through the wheel of suffering.
Moving away from CoDA, I craved loving kindness for myself in the past. I wished for the ability to drive a car and needed ways to afford it. Then I found π₯ 10 CHEAP RENTAL CAR HACKS That Will Save You Money. The title is super clickbait, but I needed to research that area. On a lighter note, The Deal Guy tells me to pay attention to the following points.
For August, I will choose a topic sprouting #note/π± that needs to be elaborated upon further. The thought I decided was π Visiting a friend at the block party. I remember feeling overwhelmed and feelings of weakness. I felt that way because, at the block party, I couldn’t but feel not good enough. I was not doing enough. I spent money on charcoal and party plastic cups. However, I hate plastic waste and I felt terrible about myself. I also have anxiety about talking to others, putting pressure on my friend to help me through the day, and cooking to get my mind off it. I don’t know it was hard. After all the hard work, I met a girl, but I don’t know if she’s real.
Then I thought to myself – Why do you expect others to complete me?
Block parties are wasteful, unsustainable, loud, and confusing. I had a lot of frustrations because I didn’t understand what I needed to do there to help my friend. And also, I put myself into a position with many people. Very uncomfortable. I don’t know if I want to do this again. Then, all I thought about was running errands, not making friends. My experience led me to learn I need to find a way to practice doing small talk in large group gatherings.
I could have done better; feel free to add your thoughts. If not, let’s see what’s going on in mental nourishment.
π₯ Mental Nourishment
Throughout August, I had many thoughts focused on the mind, and Buddhism. The first runner-up is π Misuse of senses. I remember feeling concerned, dirty, sad, and curious feelings. I felt that way because at night I overslept and had my mom’s birthday party. Some of my happiness was coming from dating apps. I allowed it to get to my pleasure senses, then positioned my mind to get some pleasure from adult sites. I deserve to see the pictures of what it looks like and explore. Later on, I went on Google, and I came across a Reddit post. The post taught me that I need to practice theΒ four noble truths. In particular, refrain from the misuse of the senses. For example, I should not look at people lustfully or commit adultery. In aΒ Reddit post, somebody mentioned the following.
“Middle way would be * in moderation and without * as long as you are not a Buddhist monk.”
Meanwhile, I couldn’t help but make the connection to the CoDA Denial Pattern – I didn’t acknowledge my feelings and let them go. Instead, I allowed myself to numb out. My plan for the future is to continue to meditate to notice my strong negative feelings and desire for self-care while asking the question of what little things I can do to help my mind be at ease.
In the same vein, π after Saturday meet-up. I remember feeling sadness. I felt that way because of dating apps. Then I got impatient that I was alone and didn’t meet anybody. Then I thought about eating a lot of sweets at night. Also, I came home to an empty apartment again. My feelings of negative pressure were overwhelming. Later, I looked at the thoughts in Buddhism and the attributes I must learn. I concluded that I needed to review the previous learnings in the other thought note and recognize that I was in a denial pattern.
I had many other thoughts; that insight keeps me focused. Feel free to let me know your thoughts. Otherwise, let’s keep on trucking to the stream of consciousness.
πΏ Stream of Consciousness
I am trying to untangle myself from useless, free, unpaid dating apps that don’t bring any women back but experience. I’m stuck in fear mode and adhering to the zodiac signs to choose the love of my life. Last year, I met that person and somebody who broke my heart and lied to me about their feelings. Many times, I try to forgive her in my heart.
My body craves love, and I don’t know why I can’t give myself enough. A part of me wants to run away and experience life more, and the responsible me is like your crazy. Your family is nearby, and what will you do with your job? It’s so frustrating. I worked at my post for ten years, and I cannot take a sabbatical to reestablish what the heck is my life’s purpose. My goal was to find some farming internships and gain some life experience. I could even start my farm near the mountains to go skiing while enjoying the fresh mountain air. I want to taste that life, but I don’t know how.
Well, that’s pretty much it for August, let’s see what Mr. AI Assistant tells me to do.
β¨AI Assistant
Had told me I need to work on the following. What do you all think?

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share July resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully in 4 mins. I will try to answer the following questions; let me know how I do. Meanwhile, see if you can find the answer.
Can different dietary preferences cause conflicts in romantic relationships?
How does the concept of mindfulness in Buddhism relate to healthy eating habits?
Are there any traditional Buddhist practices or teachings that promote mindful eating?
Can modern nutrition science be integrated with Buddhist principles to create a holistic approach to healthy living?
Meaningful Connection
π What’s New?
During July, I focused on reflections on spiritual needs and thoughts of running away from urban life. While deeply interested in improving my cooking and nutrition. Meanwhile, I had a few memories come up relating to dating. Finally, I found myself attending to my mind. Let’s head over to the resonator.
Watch me summarize the above paragraph, it’s hilarious!
π What is Resonating?
For July, I included a few unfinished input notes with a high rating of 6 Vye’s! Of such intensity, How to Start a small farm caught my eye because it had the word small. I wanted to see how much work it would take to make a living. What impressed me was that he made his merchant, forum, and music and even wrote a book. He has a whole community over at No-Till Growers (notillgrowers.com).
Meanwhile, YouTube had suggested I check out How to Start a Farm From Scratch from The Dutch Farmer. It caught my eye because I’m searching for new beginnings. During the presentation, I loved that he showed the value of researching the demand for farmers while attending the markets and stores.
Moving slightly away from farming life, I had some trouble with my weight and needed assistance from π€ Dr. Berg. He had directed me to watch Keto Diet For Beginners How To Start. I was concerned about overeating fiber and how to do it without getting blocked up. 7-10 cups of veggies first. Later I discovered that I could measure out the grams in lettuce to that 7-11 cups, which is around 6 grams of carbs. Then I can do a similar plan for other veggies. Although, I’m not quite sure how the nutrient per carb pans out. I was curious about which carbs are safe for Keto. He said to cut out apples and other fruits but bring in strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
Then I questioned what kind of protein gives the best fat. Later to learn that none lean ground beef with 3-8 oz. has good fat. What are examples of lean protein? In the video, he explains that protein powders are not fat-rich.
Somewhat related, I stumbled on the saying.
Chickens are great for laying eggs, but not for fat.
I heard that in the discord community Home – ChatKeto.com and thought it was hilarious!
Meanwhile, I couldn’t help but ask what fat I should avoid. During the presentation, the doctor mentioned that soy, corn, and canola oil can cause inflammation. Moving forward, let’s see what’s growing.
π» What’s Growing?
For July, I will choose a sprouting topic that needs to be elaborated upon further. I met a woman, Anna, on a dating app. She told me that her father passed away, and she cared for her mom. After paying a filing fee, she claims she owns a franchised studio in Boston. The company is Harper’s bazaar design. Later on, I set up a meeting to confirm my suspicions. The meeting was called π£ Question for Anna’s background. I was planning to ask her the following questions throughout my chit-chat.
Anna, what is the location of your design studio?
What is the LLC name?
How come the phone sound isn’t clear?
Once we video chatted, I decided to move forward with π£ Closing out with Anna. After the talk, I planned to close the relationship because I felt fear. I had these ideas because she wasn’t on her cell phone. She called me on PC after she claimed she had a sim card. Meanwhile, I asked her to turn her face and noticed all the filters. After asking her to turn them off, she ignored me and kept talking. Anyway, I wrote her back the following letter.
Hey Anna, I prefer to be distant friends at this point. I thought about our conversation yesterday. In my opinion, since we couldn’t compromise. I don’t want any trouble or end up in the hospital again. In my life, I hadn’t had a successful relationship with a rooster or dragon. You mentioned you had a good family, and they teach you how to be a good person. Please continue on your path, and you will find success. Be well π
I could have done better; feel free to add your thoughts. If not, let’s see what’s going on in mental nourishment.
π₯ Mental Nourishment
Throughout July, I had many thoughts focused on the mind, higher power, and Buddhism. Of such interest, π belief in an eternal god is nothing but a distraction for humans seeking enlightenment. I remember feeling Inspired and robust because I searched on the internet for Buddhism and believing in God. Then I read worshiping God could be a distraction, and in the books by π€ Ven Pyinnyathiha Monk. I should focus on meditation and gaining insight. As a result, I felt more vital that I didn’t need to depend on somebody other than my internal self. Belief in self leads me to learn I can use a promise cos it relates to my recovery. I don’t need to seek an outside source to feel good about what I have inside. Promise One states:
I know a new sense of belonging. The feeling of emptiness and loneliness will disappear.
Finally, I plan to continue π Mahasi Vipassana Meditation. I had many other thoughts; that insight keeps me focused; feel free to let me know your thoughts. Otherwise, let’s keep on trucking to the stream of consciousness.
πΏ Stream of Consciousness
My mind is thinking about the fear of losing weight, being fully present, and living spiritually. I have learned a vast amount about nutrition, Keto, and fasting, but I need help figuring out how to get my weight above 136. I’m currently sitting at 124-128 lb. Which is about 6-8 points to underweight. I got myself a dietitian to fill in the gaps. Meanwhile, on my own, I’m fasting and including around 130 carbs daily. I had tried 120 grams of fat, but my pancreas didn’t like it and flared up. The turning point was when I had 30 grams of lard. Recently, I encountered the artichoke, and I hear it helps with Bile production. Which in turn will aid in fat processing. As soon as I regain my weight, I will try to return to Keto, maintaining a lifestyle. Well, that’s it for July; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul.

Had told me I need to work on the following. What do you all think?
The content covers a wide range of topics, from dietary preferences in romantic relationships to Buddhism and healthy living. The personal anecdotes and experiences add a personal touch, making it engaging. One improvement could be to provide more structure and organization to the content, especially in the “What’s Growing?” and “Mental Nourishment” sections. This could be done by dividing the information into clear subheadings or bullet points. Additionally, consider including more sources or references to support the ideas and claims mentioned. Overall, the blog post provides valuable insights and experiences, but enhancing the structure and adding sources would make it even more informative.

Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share June resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully in 6 mins. I will try to answer the following questions; let me know how I do. Meanwhile, I left you some bonus thought-provoking questions.
What is the significance of Vipassana meditation?
How does the graph view in Obsidian help with the author’s publishing workflow?
Meaningful Connection
π What’s New?
So what’s up? I started searching in my vault for fresh ideas from the last month, and on my graph view, I had a double connection from π Vipassana at Burmese Meditation Center 10 Day 2023-6-29. Similarly, I wanted to speak to my therapist about feeling good when in the flow state. In particular, I discovered that I feel stronger and more confident when I experience progress. For example, during my stay at the Burmese temple, I didn’t understand the words or the language, but I made myself worthwhile by practicing the π Mahasi Vipassana meditation.
In the past, I would allow visions of negativity to control my mind. In the present, I’m doing my best to notice the impermanence of thoughts and practice being free and awake during the suffering. Buddhism doesn’t have a place for Godly worship. Similarly, I believe my β°οΈ Higher Power is inside.
In their belief, believing in a God is based on fear. For example, I am going to hell if I don’t do XYZ. Similarly, I believe in a loving Higher Power, which is inside of me that guides me to a non-fearing authority figure. That is why I don’t need to follow a human God. I don’t want to do idols. My higher power is inside me. A robust and loving force to develop. I want to stay open;
Moving away from Buddhism momentarily, I sought new connections under reflections and tasks. I noticed that π Im motivated to work when I do the things I love
. I remember feeling curious when it occurred to me. When I work, for me to do good work, I need to be fulfilled spiritually. Then I thought about it’s time to change jobs. Then the thought led me to learn when I switch between the carrot and stick, and work better. Finally, I noticed a task to speak to my therapist. I’m going to stop here with the reflections and move to resonators.
π What is Resonating?
During June, I chose something that I rated high and now is in my life. In such a case π₯ Keto Constipation DrBerg Explains Constipation on Keto Diet because gut biology is complicated, and it is easy to make a mess of things. π€ Dr. Berg left a few tips for me to find healing. He suggested reducing cruciferous vegetables, fat, nuts and seeds, and dairy with high lactose and casein. While lowering, I need to see how my body reacts and mindfully increase each area to improve my mineral absorption. During the video, he suggested using cabbage and spinach instead of kale because it’s easier for the body to process.
Meanwhile, I can combine kimchi and kifer so that my gut breaks down the veggies. Also, Dr. Berg’s book New Body Type Guide recommended I increase my stomach acid to prevent the bacteria from growing in the small intestine and prepare the veggies for further processing in the colon. Also, if bile is less because the gallbladder or liver has a problem, it’s best practice to notice that issue. Then adjust my diet to prepare the body, such as adding fennel seeds, eating less dark leafy greens, and walking or standing after a meal.
More so, I found a few similar articles related to constipation. I tried to eat more fat at some point, but my liver could not keep up with the load. Then, I found an article What to Eat to Produce More Bile in the Liver, which suggests eating more celery and radish. Also, I love adding chia seeds to my kifer and noting that chia is a fiber, too, so it is good to eat it in moderation. To prepare your own, check out How to Soak Chia Seeds β The Ultimate Guide. Finally, I remember making my kimchi too spicy, which might have increased my constipation. To learn more about spicy foods, see the article Understanding the Effects of Spicy Food on the Body. Alright, let’s move on to what’s growing.
π» What’s Growing?
For June, I will choose a sprouting thought that needs to be elaborated upon further. Of such interest is π using the open graph view in Obsidian to find topics to discuss during my monthly connection. I remember feeling inspired because, in context, I needed a way to find relevant information and stronger relationships. Also, I asked the question, is there a way to query which files had incoming links in the last month? I want to see what my mind has been curious about in the month. For example, I can find thoughts using the following query in the graph view tag:(#thought/reflections) -file:(Feeling) line:(Created: 2023-06). The experience leads me to learn that graph view is powerful in guiding my publishing workflow, and I plan to continue to use it to inform my blog post. Alright, let’s move on to mental nourishment.
π₯ Mental Nourishment
Throughout June, I had many thoughts coming and going, and I was able to capture the reflections, musings, and memories. Of such interest is π Love goes through the fourth dimension of time. I have the ‘reflection’ linked to my mind area because I’m trying to be mindful of Love. I remember feeling curious, happy and inspired. These feelings came because Love goes through the fourth dimension of time. I was watching Interstellar and got some inspiration. Then, many thoughts came and went as I explored the topic. Here are several examples, first about transferring between spaces at the speed of gravity. Then Love is attraction, as so is gravity. Loving somebody is the energy that can make an instant transmission, like in Dragon Ball Z, where Goku can teleport or move between time and space. Love is the fourth dimension that glues gravity and transcendence between ‘dimensions.’
Last but not least, I was left with a question, what is it like moving to the fifth dimension? These points taught me that shows inspire me to write about human emotion. Finally, I need to keep an eye out for nuggets of gold.
πΏ Stream of Consciousness
While writing June’s meaningful connection, I noticed I wasn’t as hungry. I got π Worried Feeling and started doing the walking meditation using the Mahasi Vipassana to gain insight. I remember Dr. Berg saying not to eat unless the body tells me it’s hungry. Yesterday my eating routine got changed a bit in the evening. I wasn’t hungry till 6 pm. I usually eat around 3 pm. My guess was it had something to do with overeating bread. The following day, as insights came, I decided to drink warm water with fennel, lemon, and ginger. I’m hoping that will get my system running smoothly and on schedule.
During my second day of writing meaningful connections after my walk, I installed Pokemon Go and removed it. Man, it’s so addictive. I need to be careful because an hour can go by so fast, and I’m not doing what I need to do to finish writing the post. Luckily I know how to meditate, and insight saved me again. I hope I don’t install the app.
In other news, I want to add a sidebar with a few boxes while visitors read. They might see some of the callouts. I was planning on adding the coaching for nutrition and donation boxes. The donation area is attractive because I draw a line for each donating person. Also, I write out the initials to give them credit. I am still deciding if I will do it, cos I like the space for reading. The menu on the top allows visitors to do those tasks.
Well, that’s it for June; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.
π Bonus thought-provoking questions
I’m leaving you with some thought-provoking questions. Feel free to answer to your benefit.
1. What are the benefits of having meaningful connections in our personal and professional lives?
2. How can technology facilitate more meaningful connections between people?
3. What role does vulnerability play in building meaningful connections with others?
4. What common barriers prevent people from forming meaningful connections, and how can they be overcome?
5. How can we cultivate more empathy and compassion in our interactions with others, leading to more meaningful connections?
Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share May’s resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully.
Meaningful Connection
π What’s New?
I’m super excited about my recent discovery of π Using the open graph view in Obsidian to find topics to discuss during my monthly connection. I always wondered which files had incoming links in the last month. I want to see what my mind has been curious about in May. Suddenly, it clicked. I had to set the created date as part of the filter. Then use a feeling link, depth, and incoming links to find notes. Ultimately, all I have to do now is open my feelings and see what I wrote. The first message is π Blender low poly modeling because it had the most extended connection depth. I think that is an excellent strategy to follow my interests. More so, I got inspired by an artist who organically created a bunch of art. Not sure how to explore that bit yet. However, the artist’s name was Kirsten Zirngibl. A few vital points in thinking where I want to find a way to use Blender to improve my art workflow. How can I be more organic and free? Finally, how can I allow the process to guide me? The thoughts came about because I don’t want to force my illustrations and prefer they come organically.
π What is resonating?
During May, I chose something that I rated high and now is in my life. Moving further into π Blender low poly modeling, I found a video π₯ 2D Artists you have a 3D SECRET WEAPON in Blender by Marco Bucci where he wields the Grease Pencil and does a block out of shapes to quickly get me started on drawing my ideas. I was curious about how to combine 2D and 3D together. Then, I wrote down a few highlights during the presentation, and the few that stood out to me were related to my workflow. I can quickly make a scene using simple shapes and start drawing in Blender to plan my ideas. Then continue adding more blocks and lights without color. Throughout the video, I want to make variants of my faces. Clip Studio Paint has models I can draw on top. Also, I like the light moving in Blender because I can control and understand how light plays a role in making my scene alive. Finally, I love drawing in 3D space with a Grease pencil because I can quickly plan my pieces. These helpful resources will guide me and elevate my art further as I grow in my artist journey.
π» What’s Growing?
For May, I will choose a few things that sprouted to my attention and need to be elaborated upon further. While reviewing my notes, I came across why it is vital to learn empathy. In context, telling my truth to people when I’m ready is a chance at compassion. While taking down the note, I felt curious and inspired, leading to the following thoughts. I can find a connection to practicing empathy for people. Then I asked the question, where can I be myself? I started to witness the thought that I was hurting others by sharing my mind. Then, I should only share my mind with those I trust. A lot of people are injured and afraid. As a result, I need to learn to be more gentle.
Moving to the next bit that inspired me to was π Saving money with cooking. Then, building on the following ideas points:
Groceries cost $100 + Labor
The Monthly is $400, and I don’t feel the balance
50$ for both breakfast and lunch
50*7 = $350 a week if I were to buy out
If I choose to eat out all the time. 350*4=$1400 a month
$200 Labor a week plus $100 for groceries
I’m looking at increasing my budget
$300 each week or $1200 per month
Then I thought of a hybrid system
$130 once a month + $100 groceries
$300 for other days + $230 = $530 a month
I need help but prefer to spend less than $100 on a cook. In the end, I went to Thumbtack to hire a professional cook, interviewing many candidates and writing out a pitch to find somebody to assist me in improving my cooking. Meanwhile, I came up with a hiring raise, and I’m eager to share it in case you need it.
“Hi, I’m living the keto lifestyle and would like to hire a helper to speed up my cooking. I do the shopping, and you help me cook/prep. What would it cost to hire help you to help me prepare meals for the week on Sunday? How many hours can you commit? Thanks & kind regards, Vye.”
π₯ Mental Nourishment
Throughout May, I had many thoughts coming and going, but I was able to capture the reflections, musings, and memories. Of such interest, Build a PCU solar-powered hat because it’s a fun memory of my coworkers joking around. The idea is to build a Personal Cooling unit (PCU) solar-powered, ICE, and water-sustaining cycle hat. Meanwhile, I forgot what ICE stood for, but if you have an idea, please leave it in the comments. I did a funny idea generator with my coworkers, which became interesting. I remember feeling joyful, and I had some thoughts about the idea. For example, I want to avoid creating junk and let China profit. Let’s build in the USA. I learned I’m passionate about keeping the money flowing inside the US.
On a more serious note, see what I did there. I have encountered issues with my digestion as I continued my journey with the keto lifestyle. π My digestion cant handles the fiber, and I wanted to find a solution. For example, I can’t suddenly increase weight, fat, and carbs because my body can’t fully handle fiber. I needed to find a healthy balance, so I felt some strength and fear during my discovery. I needed to find a healthy balance, so I felt some power and anxiety during my discovery. Then other thoughts came, such as my weight kept fallingβstomach pain from overeating. Also, not confident if I’m going into fat-burning mode while on a Keto lifestyle.
πΏ Stream of Consciousness
Well, we are at the end of May’s review, and my biggest complaint is my loneliness, for the most part. I’ve been praying for spiritual guidance using the Healing Code to discover why my past trauma is holding me back from seeking freedom. Throughout my hints of inspiration to run and do something drastic, I almost always have some terminator in my mind to keep me from attaining spiritual balance. However, to keep winning, by the end of June, I will be attending π₯ Meditation retreat at the NJ Mahasi Meditation Center, where I will do the Vipassana Meditation. To my surprise, it’s similar to any regular type of meditation with the following steps.
Bells throughout to notice my body tends to drift.
Identify objects, thoughts, sounds, and emotions.
Say emotions
Don’t judge, and let go.
Go back to the breath.
Meanwhile, it’s intense because I will be under meditation for ten days straight to gain insight into my demons and seek freedom from the control of negative emotions. I am seeking a release from the impermanence of feeling but a transient loving force.
On a lighter note, I’m thinking of doing a live stream https://www.twitch.tv/vyechiΒ while I try to read my blog post. So, feel free to jump in if it starts or catch the highlights later attached to this blog post.
Well, that’s it for May; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.
Welcome to meaningful connection, where I share April’s resonating ideas, thoughts, and realizations for those who want to grow mindfully.
Meaningful Connection
π What’s New?
Well, ever since I stopped journaling my achievements and switched to more of what’s fresh on the plate, I had to be more creative. As of late, I am a fantastic cook. I can make Kimchi, Golden Liquid with fermented rice. I love the sour, hot spicy, rich, flavored kimchi mixed with crispy veggies. I’m learning a ton about nutrition and glad to find that the knowledge is quickly becoming wisdom. When I dated my previous ex, her mother was a witch doctor in Chinese cooking. Since I love the environment so much, I have a strong affinity for that passion.
During April, I recently touched CoDA, the making choices book. Before jumping into the reading, CoDA stands for Co-Dependents Anonymousβa place for healing relationships and seeking a healthy mindset. In comparison, I was explicitly creating my affirmations. While searching for what changed, I came across a question. How can I include my feelings while thinking about my obstacles? It was clever to have my Higher Power because my feelings could link to my ideas. Pausing is something hard for me. The thought universe as I grow and question what is happening in my mind. I come to realize that I have a choice. The ability to reflect on my actions and learn. Nothing new; what’s special? Well, if I feel my feelings and don’t shove them away. I can link them to other events in my life. Then create a strong bond and grow. Therefore, if I bring my boundaries and goals into the picture and will come to know my Higher Power.
π» What’s Growing?
As April rages on, my greenhouse continues to receive fresh herbs. Recently while moving my obsidian vault, I discovered that Windows likes to hide folders. I was trying to clone my repository, and it would fail to connect. Later I realized that I had to move the hidden git folder, which tells GitHub what to fetch. Therefore, it was time to amend my readme file and add some documentation to troubleshoot that problem out of existence.
Nevertheless, compared to another note, I discovered a reflection with the following question. What are some things I realized when I got mature? I came across the question on a dating community. However, what’s interesting is becoming an adult, accepting things for what they are, and not trying to control them. I felt strong because I’m in CoDA, so I know it’s a process that comes and goes. In other words, progress and not perfection.
Meanwhile, I learned that I must care for my basic needs to see any progress. Therefore, I continue seeking inspiration from CoDA Community and my soul coach and therapist sessions. Thus, I’m going to move on to the nourishment part next.
π₯ Mental Nourishment
As I strapped myself in for the mental nourishment, I understood a new combined threat. I feel fear while writing those words, and I need to find a way to remove or create a new section. It was a good idea to combine this section with the above. I will have to find a way to avoid duplication. However, I will focus on something other than tackling that issue right now. I love the note on what I found attractive in my women. I was dating Jul last year, and I made a list. As I was making the list, I felt delighted and had a strong love for her. I love that she has jet black hair, traveling vibes, a body shape that is so huggable, helpful when I’m not feeling good, fun facial expressions, easygoing, and recharges me when I spend time with her. While I miss her so much and wish she was in my life forever, I did get to explore the person who would give me the kind of love I desire. The plan is to seek a personality that makes me feel good about being me. Let’s move toward the end of the fun in the consciousness section.
πΏ Stream of Consciousness
For the close of April, I’m seeking to learn to cook my remaining scraps while being environmentally balanced. Every weekend, I pushed myself to the brink of breaking because I overpack my schedule and don’t give myself enough room for spiritual maintenance. I’m always thinking about fixing or tweaking something for the better, such as utilizing my resources in the Obsidian. However, I found a small silver lining during my sleeping hour. I started praying my 30 points around my stomach while connecting with my Higher Power. As soon as I start channeling the Healing Code, I immediately repair issues of the heart, which brings me deeper sleep and a bright future ahead.
Sidebar, I’m planning to live stream while I try to read my blog post. So, feel free to jump in if it starts or catch the highlights later attached to this blog post. Also, below is my latest creation from Japanese folklore – Kasa Jizou.
Well, that’s it for April; feel free to share your ideas or if you have something on your soul. If you want to know how I became an artist, subscribe and follow my blog for more.
