Space Station How to Create it with SubDivFormer blender

The Story about the Space Station

Expanding our frontier is our future, as my excitement for creating a space station concept art. Similarly, the inspiration for the cosmic object came from a co-worker. For example, he mentioned that when he was young, he would dabble in creating them. Finally, being thrilled, I started making my own.

I was a bit discouraged at first, thinking that it would be hard to develop. However, the story was bit different then I had imagined, I had discovered this exciting app called “SubDivFormer.” For instance, it’s an Android app, which you can download here for free. Since, its an app for the phone, it is significant that I can do work on the go. For example, I was sitting on the train on my way to work, just making shapes, and my mind started connecting the object into something that looked like a spaceship or space station.

Space Station

A few weeks later, I had continued modeling and produced the space station as well. For example, to create it, follow a few simple steps to create the space station.

  • Look for inspiration
  • Pick an app that’s easy to use
  • Practice till your happy with the result

“SubDivFormer” app itself is easy to use for quick modeling. However, it’s a bit limited and needs a lot of polish. For instance, I love using Blender because it has all the features I a single place. Moreover, I’ve built futuristic towers using a similar approach. Nevertheless, I took the model into Blender to work on the topology, and here is the result.
